Next England Manager

I agree with Smiffy about the manager being English, and so do the FA. Only thing is, we lack in any quality in English managers. Although Roy Hodgson has international experience, he's achieved nothing and couldn't manage Liverpool so what chance will he have at England? Harry Redknapp is easily my first choice, but thats only because I can't name one better. Either way do I think we'll win a major trophy any time soon? No. But if we stand a chance I think it'll be Harry that'll give us that chance.

Although he has Irish parentage I do believe he was once called "an English cnut" by Roy Keane 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />

I believe this is what he said.....

Mick, you're a liar... you're a f*cking w*nker. I didn't rate you as a player, I don't rate you as a manager, and I don't rate you as a person. You're a f*cking w*nker and you can stick your World Cup up your arse. The only reason I have any dealings with you is that somehow you are the manager of my country! You can stick it up your bollc*ks

My only preference is that they are ENGLISH

My preference would be that he has to be GOOD ENOUGH....! and none of the English managers are good enough.

It doesn't matter if he comes from Bolton or Bermuda, if he is good enough then he is good enough, why do people think it matters a jot what nationatlity he is?

We need the right man for the job......the special one.

Clough for england......'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Big Sam = Please no

Harry = Would love to see him manager

Wenger = We concede enough goals as it is, we dont need to adopt arsenals play and concede 8

Ferguson = He'd never do it 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

Mourinho = He'd never do it 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

Mourinho would take it....he is big enough for it. He is one of the best in the business, it is the best job in the buisness, get him in.

Ask Harry for an interview.......but on the letter ask him to bring his medals with him, that should quieten the cockney spic down a little.

Stuart Pearce 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> I wanted him the last 2 times. I think 'Arry is definitely the #1 contender.

But when Fabio wins Euro 2012, it's only logical that he should be made to win us a matching pair.

Ferguson will die in the Utd job, and he wouldn't want it.

I wouldn't want Wenger, the press would murder him if we failed to win every game 10-0.

Mourinho can be a bit of a nob, but he'd handle the press & pressure.

Rafa Benitez is out of work isn't he? He's awesome, did a great job at Inter.

Germany Coach Joachim Low went from FK Austria Wien to German assistant before taking over the main job from Jurgen Klinsmann (another unproven manager)..

I don't get this theory that we need to go out and get someone with a track record (Sven, McLaren, Capello)

We need to go back to basics, look for a manager whose intent on positive attacking football (defense has never been our problem so what's with the defensive managers?) and really go for youth.

There could easily be someone out there in League 1 who could do a far batter job than the usual names like Big Sam, Arry and Martin O'Niel. I actually think someone like Keith Hill (Barnsley) or Nigel Adkins (Southampton) could do a decent job.. Similar to Joachim Low. Down to earth, easy going, positive attack minded managers who are good working with younger players and building a togetherness..

The big names are the ones that let you down.. Think back to the successful sides recently.. Has anyone really heard of The German, Dutch, Greek and Czech managers during their excellent campains.. Nope, didn't think so.

Oh and lets get shot of all our washed up oldies like Gerrard, Terry, Ferdinand, Cole etc..

Let's build a team around those that can keep the ball.. Rooney, Young, Wilshire, Sturridge, Jones, Smalling, Hart, A.Johnson etc.. are our future.. So feckin play them
