Rampant Rob
20 year old left back on trial from Mansfield, playing in the reserves tonight. http://www.dcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10270~2442549,00.html By the sounds of it he will spend a week with us on trial and then a week with a premiership club. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14792302.stm Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/7450-tom-naylor/ Share on other sites

RotherhamRam
I would like to say can we please take the gamble on him. The last young left back we dithered on in respect of Championship interest was the Tanmere lad who ended up at Bayern Munich. He is 17 not going to cost us a great deal and will be one who looks like very good potential for the future. Ambitious
Well the smart thing is just to see how he compares to the rest of the first team hopefuls in the reserves, no harm in looking at players no matter where they come from, must have something about him to make a premiership sode interested! Ghost of Clough
left back hey? Hmmmm, interesting. Wonder if Short had owt to do with this enquiry? According to Mansfied OS he got converted from a centre mid to centre half. Nothing to suggest he's a left back. uttoxram75
Derby County reserves won 6-1 this evening against Walsall. Russ Anderson, Callum Ball, Chris Maguire, Alex Witham & Tomasz Cywka (2) with the goals. No idea if Naylor played well. Rampant Rob
According to Mansfied OS he got converted from a centre mid to centre half. Nothing to suggest he's a left back. Says on our OS that he's a left back, not sure what his preferred position is. Ghost of Clough
I think it was Rhys Sharpe that played LB so its more likely he played in the centre. Well he's a confident ball playing defender with plenty of potential anyway. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/7450-tom-naylor/#findComment-203245 Share on other sites
