Duracell
I'd still prefer another left back to challenge Roberts. Shackell, Barker, O'brien and Buxton as CBs, Roberts and Naylor as LBs Disagree, Gareth Roberts is absolutely amazing.

Duracell
Abidal Roberts McEveley Cole. The others top Roberts on skill but it's his pace that puts him 2nd for me. Providing he's fit, we don't need another LB. Don't see how Naylor would get a game.
p.shilton
The only way he would get a game is if Roberts is ****. Oh, I see
Redshaw_Ram
Roberts is very underrated. I would still like someone better there, obviously, but he's nothing like even half as bad as some people make out.

I agree that he is not has bad as some make out but unfortunately his positioning, tackling decision making, support plat, passing tends to let him down..........oh dear what am I saying he is not that good really but is better than Kilbane because he is a little bit quicker. If this lad can play left back give him time to settle then give him a go.
CumbrianRam
Problem is, he only has a season or so left in him at his age and finding left backs seems impossible these days.

Day
Derby County have agreed a fee with Mansfield Town for defender Tom Naylor, BBC Radio Nottingham understands. The 20-year-old impressed in a trial earlier this season and the Rams are now favourites for his signature despite interest from elsewhere. Centre-half Naylor recently had a week-long trial spell with Derby's Championship rivals Burnley. Naylor, who can play at right-back, also spent time with Premier League side Fulham. Blue Square Bet Premier side Mansfield have also previously rejected a bid from League One team Bournemouth. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15623461.stm?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
