Derby set to beat Blackpool to Newcastle striker Ranger

DERBY COUNTY are in for out-of-favour Newcastle striker Nile Ranger.

Toon chiefs will sell the 20-year-old but are not so keen on a loan arrangement.

Blackpool fancy Ranger but couldnt agree personal terms

and Nigel Clough is stepping up the Rams bid to bring him to Pride Park.

Another player with lots of pace but no end product.

It's only 'People' though. Must be a bullshit.

His career was almost over before it began, whilst playing for the club he was sentenced to 11 weeks in a Young Offender's Institute for his part in an armed street robbery in Muswell Hill committed before signing for the club.[3] He returned to Southampton after completing his sentence, but was eventually released as a player with a bad reputation.

Another player with potential re-sale value. So long as he doesn't do something silly off the pitch a striker with a bit of aggression isn't necesarily a bad thing.

Can't see him (if he does have the attitude problem that people are saying) getting on with Clough. NC doesn't suffer fools gladly.

Good that we're still looking, but slightly concerning that there seems to be a step-shift down in terms of quality that we're after. Don't really see that he offers us anything that we don't already have to be honest.

A player that has been playing Premier League football, surely he is the higher end of the spectrum of players we have been linked with?
