Found the post. Wonder if our shirt will be anything like that or if it’s just a stock image…

The home kit is much like the above one in the LinkedIn advert. The Valencia kit is nothing like the new home shirt. The new one has the band's around the bottom of the sleeves. It appeared more chequered on what's been seen from the photoshoot but this was at a distance. It's only seen front facing so the band on rear across the lower back isn't known/confirmed.

This is a stretch, but might it be us for the coming season?

I saw a company on LinkedIn who were working on behalf of the club to find a new shirt sponsor, so it sounds like we don’t have one yet.

... or did you see something on LinkedIn CLAIMING they were looking for a sponsor for DCFC? If we didn't have one, how could the club have announced that the home shirts will be available in the Megastore in June?

I mean it’s a bit of an odd thing to claim if there’s no legs to it. What is he going to do…get people interested and then tell them he made it up? He has past posts where he’s helped other football clubs too.

It's clearly a bonafide company and post.

The company is https://www.elitesports-marketing.co.uk/. In some ways it's disappointing we're working with an agency for this stuff, but in other ways it's interesting. Curious to see the results.

2 things here.

Clubs have released shirts without sponsors, both Chelsea and Forest in recent years.

This could also be looking for next season, using the Championship now as a selling point.

I know they don't really need to advertise but, given what the city has contributed to its success, it's hard to believe that Rolls Royce don't do more with the club.

The Rolls Royce brand is bigger than the Derby County brand 😂 I suppose it would be difficult explaining to the RR shareholders the benefits associated with company sponsoring the local football club.

Nice idea though.

You say that, yet what would they gain from doing it? Not like Just Eat where they can give you a 10% discount code and lure you into a kebab through them every Saturday.

Midweek offer, 10% off a Trent 7000 engine for fans.

Looks good on a kit mockup whilst we wait for signings but makes no financial sense, that money would be better off in their bank account, reward the city with it by not laying off staff when profits start to dip.

Good thought.

Probably not interested in the past couple of years as we were more functional pick-up truck than Rolls Royce.

However, Paul Warne’s new total football will see us purring like a Silver Cloud.

It would be "chump change" for RR to sponsor DCFC, Covid almost killed them they lost Billions of £s, Now those billions are being re-cooped, The shares are slowly Ramping up, But the British Government still hold the Golden Share so maybe that would stop them putting money into their local football team, Toyota on the other hand 👌

PS...it's the Trent 700 😉

Out of interest - how much do people think it cost to be a shirt sponsor for a Championship club?

Happy to have a look down the back of the sofa

So, the home shirts probably won't be in the shop in June? Seems a logical conclusion if we are still looking for a sponsor.
