Confined by both Nicholson and Percy, club is currently under a transfer embargo for failing to pay players wages.

Wonder how that has affected targets etc we may have already lost out on our top priorities.

again, absolutely astonishingly poor from the club, wonder what Wayne makes of it all?

We wouldn't be buying anyone until the new owners are in place anyway - And the players will get paid and embargo lifted at that point

Anyone new will know that they could get a nice new chunky paycheck under the new people

Rooney seems to be in line for the managers job permanently so he's probably not gonna rock the boat too much

Couldn’t agree more, football is an absolute farce

I remember them saying on five live when Bolton went bust that a week of Alexis Sanchez wages at Manchester United would have likely saved Bolton

Well for those who criticise Alan Nixon, he’s given you some golden ammunition there as to his credibility. I’m nigh on certain he’s wrong there, and we are currently under embargo as per EFL regulations.

He said there hadn't been a complaint.

Meaning there's been loads, all from the Teeside area under the name Gibson.

As much as people like to blame the EFL for most of the worlds ills. Our very own ring master MM and the vast array of circus clowns he’s employed over his tenure. Are far more responsible for our current plight  than the EFL could ever dream of inflicting on us

It is quite possibly the most stupid ill thought out system of governance in sport today .. The high ideal they want to create a level playing field and prevent wide boys is all very well but then you have a prize at the end that is like a pay day loan being dangled in front of the desperate. Then 3 competitors in the “game” get a 500% cash advantage at the start of the season. Any other do peters wanting to try and match this by sustainable means (a sugar daddy owner) get fined, points deducted, kicked where it hurts and called cheats ... it is bizarre
