Smyth_18
Christ. I remember the tough old days in the 1880's! Didn't win many at all. Didn't lose many mind. Didn't even draw many,

SaintRam
The 2000s were so bloody awful. Surprised I'm still a Derby fan to be honest. I was 8 when the 2000s started.
Wolfie
I realise this is a bit of fun but shouldn't the league position take into account which division we're in (2010's would be 29th presumably, rather than 9th)?

I think its reasonable for it to be relative to the competition we're in. This is probably (I've not checked) the only decade we've never had any presence in the top division; yet in the grand scheme of things it's been a very enjoyable one with decent quality football. Better than the 2000s, imo. Doing this as you've said would be necessary if we were to compare these stats across multiple teams though, for sure. TommyPowell
Must remember that from 1995 a win was awarded 3 points instead of

I had just popped out when the 2000s started, only thing I really remember is my first game against Millwall and going on a tour around the stadium! Alph
All the Rams that have spent the last 5 years saying stupid stuff like "failure" and thinking they're being let down. As you can see, it's not that bad is it? ?

BramcoteRam84
In all seriousness, I haven’t checked the stats out but the last 15 years must be right up there with the worst periods in our history given the we’ve only spent 1 of the past 17 or 18 seasons in the top flight. Pre 2000 it’s not many times we’ve spent more than 5 or 6 years outside the top flight in our history.

This is now the second longest period outside the top flight, only the 50's to 60's hiatus being longer.

Same here, a little bit later but my first memories were the late 2000s/ very early 2010s under clough when we used to just turn up at home and get dicked 3-0 by reading or someone week in, week out. God knows how I didn’t give it up back then as a kid, think the appointment of Mcclaren probably saved me and kept me a football fan for good.
