That remains to be seen but leaving is looking increasingly unlikely unless UKIP/Brexit Party win enough votes to apply pressure again.

Mate IMO it’s unfortunately a lost fight now which I’m sad about.

We will remain in the EU as the reamainiacs have  seen to that.

- and the government wanted us to remain in the EU when giving us the referendum as well.

Then they ran election campaigns saying they would honour the leave result.

Be certain - put the 'deal' (and 'no deal', if you wish) to the British public and ask them if that's what they wanted, you know, once the speculative unicorns have been put aside. After all, the referendum was nearly 3 years ago, so surely all the arguments about the benefits to Britain and the general British public of leaving the EU have had more than enough time by now to sink in and to convince we Europhiles of the errors in our thinking.

You don’t think the EU runs us already then

I suggest they do and are aiming for even more power.

Remember the working time directive.

Damned Europe - forcing us to have holiday pay, stopping people being forced to work more than 48 hours a week over a 4 month average

You do know what 'speculative' means, don't you?

"Engaged in, expressing, or based on conjecture rather than knowledge"

Conjecture, rather than knowledge - no change there then.

I could speculate that we are all going to have pet unicorns after we leave the EU, but it takes a particular level of craziness to believe it.

Yes you are speculating the EU will suddenly become a success.

Well that’s worked well so far hasn’t it

The EU is a busted flush already IMO

I'm all for a second referendum now (leave/remain) as it would hopefully stop some of the anger thats brewing. BUT only if it was presented in an independent manner and if you vote leave you also get to answer a second Mays Deal/No deal question enabling the government to actually act on the outcome should leave win again!

Actually, the hard right have caused this, as they wanted a hard brexit, and no way was that going to happen, even the EU wouldn't let it happen, otherwise we would be out on our arse today.

Your mates in ERG, through lies, deceit and a failed power grab, have steered the UK away from a hard brexit.  People want the best deal for the UK, the best deal is to put it to the people.

The ultimate goal of the EU is to unite Europe eventually through ever closer integration. It may not be a United States of Europe in the American model, but it won't be many disparate independent countries as it is now.

In fact the only way it will ever really happen is if we leave and take our veto with us. It would certainly remove one of the major hurdles to a united European army for example.

Wrong. ERG voted against May.  Hard brexiteers voted against May's deal. Go look at the results, and who voted which way, instead of just making up unicorn facts.

The 48 hours thing doesnt work. Many larger companies get you to sign a piece of paper waiving that right. I dont know if its even legal for them to do that, but i have had to refuse to sign the waiver previously.

It’s irrelevant now.

We are in the EU still and it’s costing us 382 Million pounds a day in contributions.

Wrong, again, get your facts right please, and stop believing what you see on the side of a bus. Unicorn facts strike again.

It is just under £25m a day
