Just as horrible to watch and play against as their first team. Big men up front, big men at the back, functional football, nothing pretty, bully the opposition and look to get lots of crosses in.

Disappointing to see that the U23s struggle just as much as the first team against such teams.

Cresswell penalty makes it 2-1.

Think that makes it a fairer reflection of the game as we lose 2-1.

It makes sense that the Brighton team plays in the same style as their first team and they were clinical.

Unfortunately we weren't,  though their keeper made several good saves.

The Brighton players also made a lot of fouls in that second half , disrupted play well.

Just a link to the official dcfc page from @Inverurie Ram and a 2-1 defeat for the U23's shows everyone at dcfcfans.uk that @Inverurie Ram is not up to stepping up for the first team match threads.

The commentators and lack of action in the second half also caused @Inverurie Ram to nod off, probably his body catching up after @Inverurie Ram gave up on the first team after several minutes on Saturday, switching off all modes of media to opt to go for a 4 mile round walk to Home Bargains on a cold bleak day, to buy the UK's No.1 Astonish Mould & Mildew Blaster! followed by spending several hours in the local public houses!

C'mon everyone at DCFC wake me up and let's get back on track ASAP.
