Can anyone remeber Preston away on Sky last season under Rowett?

Proper shithoused them ?

Was there a missed peno? So grim, I’ve blanked a lot. A proper game of ‘we Won, so there’s no need to talk about the performance’. Halcyon days.

That said, a genuinely dirty shithouse performance / win can be quite comical in a black humour sort of way.

Nice one Sky.

I've always wanted to visit Preston, and now I can do it from the comfort of a leather recliner in a temperature controlled environment, with cheap beer to boot.

Been to Preston once... still get flashbacks, it was like visiting a 3rd world country... almost as bad a Burnley!

All set for a proper Leo Sayer we were, early doors Blackpool then on minibus to Deepdale for kick off, one of the chaps 60th so we had this planned for some time.

Thanks Sky, we’ll probably watch it at the Hawk in Etwall now with a basket of sweet potato fries.

?

Never heard the Leo Sayer phrase before, what's it mean.
