I knew Jack's Dad pretty well - he was salt of the earth and lived on Leacroft Road (next to Shaftesbury Crescent). If Jack is half the man Johnnie was he’ll be ok.

Jack is a real son of Derby and there is no affectation about his accent or roots.

My first proper Job after Uni I worked with John, he really helped me. Absolutely a top bloke, was always the life and soul of the office. Top man.

You stayed in town?

Jack has left A-Town. I'm still here. Representing the streets.

Sat in ducking traffic all day every day because they spent millions on some rubbish carvings and made the road network worse. The dump.

Still here though. Angelina Jolie spotting

Presume he means the game. Unless we didn't lose 5-1 at the Bernabeu after all.

Funny thing about the return leg is that George's goal is at least as good as the one he scored at the BBG (to be slightly contraversial I do think the BBG first one is a bit over rated - good but without the howling commentary it wouldn't get anywhere near the plaudits it does). Now, where did I put that tin hat, think I might be needing it.

So am I. I drove through it once and lived to tell the tale. I call that a success.

I'm not having that.

Even Bonnie Prince Charlie turned around once he knew Alvaston was dead ahead.

Although there was a nice chariot for sale on Harvey Road he liked the look of.

Charlie George only played for England once because he told the then manager that worse players than him were getting picked, which most would agree with.

Not so much depth of talent though as dross being selected over them.

No tin hat required. Charlie says the same.
