Carl Sagan
The U23s are in action tonight with a league game against Everton. It'll be the first match at the new venue in Loughborough. According to the DET, Thorne, Pearce and Anya are all slated to play, as the overage members of the team. Official pre-match details are at https://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/2018/09/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-under-23-clash-with-everton-tonight The game will be free-to-air as normal on RamsTV. It's important for the young Rams to keep picking up points so that the end of the campaign isn't as fraught as that of our first two seasons in the top flight. Give em a chance at least before you slate them. p.s. Don’t jinx the result by starting this thread, and don’t forget to do a match one. ?

Official site puts them in their place! Mind I guess they’re no longer first team players
Phoenix
30 minutes played, winning 1-0, goal from Gorgeous George.
May Contain Nuts
Good play by Eyoma to win the penalty, which is nice to see after how poorly it all went for him last time out.
Carl Sagan
Another terrible ref. Alex Pearce just needs to go within five yards of the ball to be penalized. One short injury stoppage yet five minutes of injury time played to see if Everton could bag a goal. Happily they haven't so far, though Ravas had to make his first save in the fourth minute of injury time. Lovely turn by Eyoma to get into the box before being wiped out. Even this ref would have been embarrassed not to give a pen. Very coolly slotted away by George, low and hard into the corner. Sibley's had a couple of chances. We were largely the better team and have a strong spine, but Everton came back into it for the final 10+5 minutes.
California Ram.
Bit of a battle but Derby hang on - Bird looks a great prospect and Ravas confident in goal George and Pearce played their parts - ‘little jack’ Hunt towering over Everton - gritty stuff from the full backs Bateman and McDonald too
eddie
Quite impressed. That was Everton's first defeat at this level this season.
sage
I ended up watching online. What does anyone who went think to the venue in comparison with St Georges?
muzzamurray
Shame it wasn't at SGP... I'm stopping here tonight so would have been good to go watch
Dean (hick) Saunders
Only watched first half. Pitch looked good, but lightning a bit on the gloomy side.
ram59
I find watching the u23s to be more entertaining than watching the first team atm. A good fast paced have last night with plenty of quality from both sides. Where has our keeper come from? He didn't have a lot to do, but when called upon anticipated one through ball brilliantly and made a couple of top class saves.
