Bob Gnarly
Ryan Kent available for a loan at all? Was decent when he was at Barnsley, adds to our options as i'd imagine he can play anywhere in that front/midfield

MackworthRamIsGod
Am I reading too much into the article in todays Derby Telegraph regarding David Cotteril, or will he be our first signing in Jan? Mutual termination from contract, immediately comes out and thanks Rowett for everything, talks of promotion if Rowett hadn't been sacked, Derby fans wanting him...I wonder where he will be training for the next couple of weeks? Parsnip
Isn't Cotterill similar in career stage as Bryson? i.e. good Championship player on a natural decline... seems odd to bring him in after shipping Bryson out. Would be good cover though. Rowett knows him, he's free and apparently his middle name is George Best.

Having seen the lad play a few times I think he's a better wide player than what we have He's very fast skillful and two footed Ask Christie how good he is ! DontTrustTheDevilInside
Maddison from Peterborough seems the best option I’ve seen other than Brannigan from Liverpool. Still think in the 3 behind the forward line we lack real consistent quality for a promotion contender. Russell and Weimann are reliable work horses but when a team comes to pp to park the bus are they likely to make the difference? We need someone who can pick a pass/get defenders to close them down by being dangerous from range/create chances. Making holes behind for our strikers. I like the way Rowett is picking squads for the opposition and with his current form Vydra is the man for 75% or more games but there’s some where it doesn’t work. If we lose Martin a double raid to get marriott from Peterborough wouldn’t be a bad shout. Feels like the right hungry player who will not disrupt the squad but be chomping at the bit to get on and make an impact and seems to have a real natural finishers instinct. Well to be fair Russell appears to be making quite a difference,, scoring goals ( bus park burton) and is getting assists , wieman appears to be making a difference too ,scoring goals and stretching teams,,, very easy to see players as they have been pre rowett , rowett seems to be lighting some players fires and perhaps we need to be adjusting our view on that basis ?
