Anag Ram Posted July 15, 2017 Share Posted July 15, 2017 It's possible that we wanted a tough CDM to bolster the squad (Whelan, Leadbitter etc) but also thought GT would be the silkier version. When his injury hoodoo returned (hopefully a temporary blip) they saw Huddlestone as his natural replacement. We may need to ship out a few before we can bring in the speedier, younger players we crave. We have a lot of players who do basically the same thing but not to the standard required. We need better attacking midfield options than we have at present. Any two from Lawrence, James and Jota would do nicely. Could lose two from Bryson, Butterfield, Johnson, Weimann, Blackman.and Bent. Everybody wins... is what a horrible old cynic might come up with I, of course, would never think this way - far too much of a happy clapper for that!
