Anything been said about it? Was heavily wrapped at half time, looked to be his knee unless I'm reading too much into his hand placement, BBC commentators were talking of a hamstring.

  • Ipswich would have injured him anyway the dinosaurs, so it's not a disaster if he misses that.

  • Jesus, they'll sign up Julian Dix* next.  *Misspelled as Daveo's software isn't advanced enough to pick up a surname as a non-expletive.

One of a number of sad head shaking moments over the past few seasons.  Whilst some of our failures have been self inflicted,  that was just one of those things that makes you think providence is

Don't think we'd have risked him if it was his knee or hamstring at half time. Hopefully just a dead-leg but suspect he may struggle for Ipswich

It may be that he has that treatment on his leg at half time every week and that the reason he came off was unrelated?

I certainly hope they were unrelated. But having seen the state they sent Christie out 2nd half v wolves, i wouldn't be shocked if they are related. Just hope it's very short term. One player we can't do without

So for Ipswich is it De-Sart - Bryson - Johnson or is it Johnson Bryson & Butterfield.

Not convinced that Bryson and Butterfield work well together. I love Johnson in the holding role, but he'll have to get pushed further up with Bryson to slot De Sart in.

Mick has bought a couple of new cloggers to welcome us to Ipswich with - Stephen Taylor and diagoukara (?) from Leeds.  We should take no chances.

My thoughts exactly.

We'll go there, pass the ball and move so quick, that they'll be kicking fresh air!

Rest him on Tuesday against that bunch of cloggers and get him ready for next Saturday. The squad needs rotating with this run of tough games coming up so that the energy levels stay high, Bent looked knackered after an hour.

We should have a go at an all-time cloggers XI.

***** and mark Dennis as full backs.

Terry Hurlock and vinnie Jones as centre mids.

Chris Morgan plus? as centre halves. Plus room for a couple of niggly wide players and strikers

Edit : obviously David's zeal to protect us all from profanity has barred julians surname

Hutchinson from Wednesday as captain, awful human being.

Gutted he's out on Tuesday, yesterday really showcased his class and how we struggle without him. Was the best player on the park for the 60 minutes he was on, including the premier league champions team- imo that proved he's not only a top player at this level, but would also be one of the better cms in the premier league as well. Dunno how to replace him, butterfield and Bryson categorically don't work together, so maybe de sart in and Johnson further forward?

You can just imagine micks team orders if we start de sart. The lad will be lucky if he doesn't get snapped in half.

Mick will be feeding that Jonathan Douglas raw meat all weekend!
