I don't think you need to worry about many sellouts at home. Virtually all of the big names have played here. 

You need to find a seat or two in the sw corner where is cheap and a decent atmosphere and when you get one next to someone who will talk to you, keep asking for the same seat. I've made friends this way including one of about 30 years now. We even go on holiday together with our families, sometimes. We still live 70 miles away from each other.

Contact the ticket office either by phone or e-mail get a customer number then you can buy tickets when they go on general sale. Don't bother with home and away membership unless you have money to waste. You could try buying a half season ticket I think you can still buy them..
