Battered Wolves 1st half but same old story 2nd half.

Good result though by the way

Why can't we easily see games out .

No need to get abusive .

We struggle to see out games.

How we got a penalty and Wolves didn't I'll never know.

We got our penalty because the ref gave it and wolves didn't get one because the Ref didn't give it. Hope that helps.

But we did see the win out this time, and although it was nervy, I definitely didn't "expect" the 95th minute equaliser. A couple of weeks ago I would've been on the 'in play' betting on a draw.

There's lots and lots of progress and the players' confidence is only going to grow.

We're cooking.

Definitely improving with written off players like Johnson and Butterfield and Pearce coming to the fore.

Scored 3 away from home, won away from home, their keeper produces a string of excellent saves, we hit the woodwork 3 times and STILL you moan.

A few random letters and numbers for you.

Under Pearson's management:

P9 W1 D3 L5 F3 A9 Pts6

Not under Pearson's management:

P7 W4 D2 L1 F9 A4 Pts14

I'm not moaning I'm praising also but you can't see that.

Don't even think about telling me that  you weren't slightly worried about our 2nd half performance yesterday because Mac himself said he wasn't happy with it.

1st half we were majestic with written off players like Johnson and Butterfield pulling the strings along with Hughes.

Some people on here said Johnson should never pull a Rams shirt on again.

For the record I didn't want Mac back but he's doing very well so far.

I can't argue with that and don't want too either.

Long may it go on

Is it fair to say that in the short term mac is succeeding where pearson was failing?

Long term who knows? But the signs are better in my eyes.

Yep fragile but we are selecting players who are available and not always best suited that said wolves were more than fragile as are several teams currently especially as the loan option is not currently available to plug holes in various teams

having watched the style that Clement and Pearson served up I am happy to be being entertained again or at least trying ( a couple of kind referee decisions have helped lately)

Yes I'll be at Wembley.

Looking forward to it with my fellow Engerrrrrland fans.

Come on England.

Well hope they improve on the Malta performance because that was almost as tedious as watching Derby under Pearson!

Then again, scratch that, at least England won.

So, if we keep up the 'not under Pearsons management' stats, that would be 92 points for a season, not bad at all.

Whilst under Pearson, had we kept going at the same rate, we were heading for 31 points.

Quite so. Having trawled through the Wolves match thread my understanding is that:

Carson: Could have done better with both goals

Lowe: OK but faded

Keogh: Always got.......................

Pearce: Generally poor, at fault for 1st goal

Russell: Time to sell

Hughes: Brilliant touches but faded

Butterfield: Meh

Johnson: Good but faded

Ince: Good game but........

Hanson: Out of his depth

Vydra: £8 million? Missed a sitter

McClaren: Usual roller-coaster.....

Did we lose heavily or summat?

At least there was unanimity on one thing. Holloway's a dick-head.

I'll take the result. Derby lost at Wolves last season and didn't beat Sheffield Wednesday The two wingers got into the game in the second half but they were playing against a third choice left back and a makeshift right back. Yes we should have buried them in the first half but a win is a win and is progress on the corresponding game last season.
