eddie
Brewing from grain and hops, or proper home brew out a tin? The amateur stuff, Boycie. Malted grain, mash, sparge, boil, hop addition, crash chill, pitch yeast, ferment, rack, dry hop to secondary, rack, prime, bottle. I don't feel confident with a can opener. May Contain Nuts
Could be a few fair few years until I make my own, could be 3 months, thanks for the offer of advice. I think I preferred the 'boilermaker' from Brains, but Barry Island was enjoyable all the same. dabber
Not sure if this should be in the beer or poetry thread, but just came across this classic from Edgar Allan Poe... Fill with mingled cream and amber, I will drain that glass again. Such hilarious visions clamber Through the chamber of my brain — Quaintest thoughts — queerest fancies Come to life and fade away; What care I how time advances? I am drinking ale today

Well, as you may have guessed, this is a lager. Voted best in the world somewhere too (can't remember where). You can get it in our staff shop, and we're putting it on draught in a few different places.

2tups
Waiting for Eddie to chip in here, but I'd go Brooklyn above those. If you ever find yourself in upstate Oregon I love Full Sail and Stones from San Diego. And Hales IPA from Seattle. Just a view
