Brewing from grain and hops, or proper home brew out a tin?

The amateur stuff, Boycie.

Malted grain, mash, sparge, boil, hop addition, crash chill, pitch yeast, ferment, rack, dry hop to secondary, rack, prime, bottle.

I don't feel confident with a can opener.

Not sure if this should be in the beer or poetry thread, but just came across this classic from Edgar Allan Poe...

Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chamber of my brain —
Quaintest thoughts — queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today

might have to see if I can try that somewhere. I like Sharp's Doombar but not seen this one.

Well, as you may have guessed, this is a lager. Voted best in the world somewhere too (can't remember where). You can get it in our staff shop, and we're putting it on draught in a few different places.

You will have to let us know if anywhere in Derby has it (if you do know) I am guessing the staff shop is only open to staff :lol:
