Some of us were still optimistic with Wassall in charge last season, where were your calls for encouragement then? As I recall you were one of the more negative fans back then.

Now you have a manager you are happy with you feel you have the right to tell other people that they are not allowed to be negative!

It would not surprise me if a lot of the people booing now were the same ones booing last season.

I bet the majority of the ones who backed Wassall still back Pearson on matchday and air any negative views they may hold on here.

Lots of truth in this @G STAR RAM

I support the rams. But I deem it  (rightly or wrongly ) my right to criticise those in charge when I think that either

A) they are making very poor decisions

B) they are failing to make decisions at all

C) they are trying to deflect responsibility

So all of my criticism will be thrown not on match days and not at the games.

I may not be a happy clapper but I like to think of myself as reasonably balanced and not a boo-boy doom merchant.

I'll always get behind the team and support them during games. I don't boo and think it's fairly stupid to do so. But I am going to voice my concern on here when I see one of our manager tearing apart all the good work we've done in the past few years and send the club backwards. There are some people on here who are so far up Pearson's arse but at the same time were so anti-Clement/Wassall when we clearly were better under them, it's almost as if they're related to the man.

It's 6 games in which is still relatively early, but we've shown very little improvement and have gone from one of the most feared attacks in the division to the worst scorers in the football league. People are going to be upset as we seem to be going backwards and it's probably time the Pearson lovers start to understand that.

People are hell bent on promotion but I'd take a season like 13/14 under Mac any day where we blow teams away, rather than a 06/07 Davies season where we scrape every game. Don't sacrifice everything just to go up, go up doing it how we were trying to.

We scored 11 goals in 6 games under non-league Nigel as people like to call him, as opposed to 1 under Pearson. We had better results and played more entertaining football with a significantly weaker side. Not sure what point you're trying to make here.

By this time of that season, we had won 3 games and scored 11 goals.

Including an absolutely sublime 23 pass goal against yeovil which I had the privilege to witness.

2 more weeks with only 1 further point we sacked the manager.

What conclusion are you trying to draw @curtains?

That McClaren was overrated and Pearson isn't being given a chance .

Some of these results were terrible

So the start of THIS season had us with 3 wins and only 1 defeat by this stage of the season.

I have a lot of time for you mate but I can't see this helping the argument.

If results aren't good then can we claim that the performances are and we're just out of luck?

I suspect not.

Of course the results aren't good at the moment but March and April 2014/2015 were awful with McClaren

Pearson needs time that's all I'm suggesting and people have rose tinted glasses on regarding McClaren result wise.

It is not true to say he was universally successful at Derby .

But it's not just results. It's performances as well.

We have to give the manager time. One of the ghastly features of the transfer window - apart from Jim White's faux hysteria and Kate abdo''s genial bimbo-ishness - is that we now cannot amend the squad until Jan.  Therefore cannot see anything to be gained by a change of manager now.

But that's not what those of us who aren't still frantically masturbating over pearson in dimly lit rooms are asking for.

What we seek is a sign of a clear plan plus a bit of communication as to what we're trying to do and hence what our expectations as supporters ought to be.

Sorry I've just realised I'm only speaking for me, not the rest of the forum. Surely that's not unreasonable though?

To be honest m8 you are great poster but you are missing the point.

The point is it's not as if Pearson took over a great and confident team.

He took over a team that failed in the playoffs dramatically after being top of the league at Xmas with Clement and finished 6th with Wassall .

Now like Pearson or not he deserves to be allowed to manage the team that he was appointed to manage in the way he deems fit because he was brought in to sort the mess out.

Now why McClaren and Clement were sacked is irrelevant to Pearson he's just the manager now.
