Cisse
Chester is too short for Pulis. He likes his shawcrosses.
Comrade 86
Given Keogh's contract has been renewed it seems unlikely we were ever in the market for Chester.

So keeping our POTY and captain is a duff call but splashing £9 million on Chester would have been good business. Hmmm.....

Inglorius
Why would spending 9 million quid plus add ons on a centre half be bad business if ultimately we were promoted as a direct result of this

But there'd be no way of proving promotion was a direct result of this piece of business. If it turned out that we would have been promoted without making this signing (which would be impossible to know), then that would make it bad business. Agreed so why is the opinion that 9 million quid is an overly inflated transfer fee for a player whom could get us promoted people need to start looking at the bigger picture
