Samfcv
I'm glad someone finally posted a FB video of all his actually goals from free kicks. Rather than the shocking one put together a week ago just showing him hitting the post or top netting. Welcome back Idiakez, runs Baiano close for my favourite player. Stive Pesley
Am I right in remembering that Idiakez once scored from a corner? I'm pretty sure he used to deliberately try and bend the corners into the top corner on purpose (much to the rest of the team's annoyance) If he can coach our current crop to take corners that beat the first man or don't go out for a throw on the far side that would be a start

Had to rely on near post defenders fluffing it, which they did.
tomsdubs
One of the few great signings we made back then. Idiakez, Rasiak and Bisgaard were immense. Tommy Smith used to terrorise defences and Ian Taylor did well for his age. Good times.

Rampage
If Inigo can teach one of our non crossers to cross a ball past the first defender then he will be worth his wages for a year.
Day
I find it hard to get excited about coaches, great players don't always make great coaches. Free kick specialist maybe but that doesn't mean it will rub off on Tom Ince. Sorry to be a scrooge.

I wish him all the best but not going to get over excited just yet. Was this the 'big signing' everyone's been creaming themselves over?! ? Genuinely, he's the only Derby player ever that I've seen as a hero. Too young for the Jim Smith days, and the Billy Davies side didn't do it for me. Something about him was magical to watch. And now I get to see that majestic hair at Pride Park again (don't you DARE ruin the moment and call it the iPro). If he can transmit half of his transcendental magic onto the team, then we're going to win the league. Twice. In one season.
Sexydadbod
Pearson said that he hand picked Idiakez not because he was a former Derby player, that's just an added bonus, but because of his coaching skills at Leicester and leadership skills when he played under Pearson at Southampton. The more the merrier I say. We may need to get a bigger bench for the dugout though.
