Everyone is throwing names into the hat

Even Glen Hoddle's got a mention. If we do not run with Darren Wassall, how about going for current manager and X-Ram legend. Doing an average job at the moment, but never been with a big club since coaching to show what he could bring to the table. Dean Saunders and perhaps bring in a top defending coach to help him. What do think Mel and fans.

would've been all for Saunders a few years ago, but something went wrong after his poor treatment at Wolves.

If having a new manager is a problem with FFP, could we defer wages of said new manager until next season?

have I missed my vocation?

Perhaps we could ask Jose to do it for free until the end of season, telling him he needs to keep his hand in until he takes over at old Trafford. He could even ask United for some emergency loans  so he can look at some of squad players prior to taking over. Its a win win situation for all

whats the FFP rule on setting up a separate management company, employong the manager through that company and paying them their weekly wage through that company thrn seconding them to DCFC but not sending DCFC for the invoice for secondment until next year.

Or do a man city and hire their own directors box for ten million. Surely there a ways around this if we wanted the new man now

FFP is not a problem. BTW we dont have the biggest wage bill in the championship, nor the biggest spend over the last 3 years. Remember that FFP is about the previous 3 seasons.

So its not the case that the 3 season rule starts this year?

no, I think it's backwards from the point you are at by 3 years. It was clearly stated that the fact we didn't spend much in previous 2 years, has helped us this year.

Sound, thanks for clarifying, assumed we'd pre-loaded our spend!
