DerbyPride
My Forest supporting mate made the point that he can't think of any former goalkeeper who has been a good manager. He's got a point.

This guy is apparently the most successful goalkeeper-turned-manager https://www.theguardian.com/football/2007/sep/19/theknowledge Quote The most successful keeper-manager ever is surely the late Raymond Goethals. Born in Brussels in 1921, Goethals enjoyed a modest playing career between the sticks for minor Belgian clubs Daring and Racing de Bruxelles. However, as Xavier Lizin points out, there is nothing modest about his coaching CV. In 1993, Goethals guided Marseilles to victory in the Champions League final against a Milan side that included Marco van Basten, Franco Baresi and Frank Rijkaard. Red_Dawn
Never heard of the bloke but his record sounds good, and probably a better bet than the usual merry go round of Warnock, Evans, Adkins etc.. Looking forward to seeing who he brings in

Don't think he's owt special, but I can't see them in a relegation battle under him (unless the quality of the squad is actually as bad at it seems sometimes). RadioactiveWaste
Look, it'll be fine once fawaz settles on his preferred 11. It'll be mountain man's coaching that's the problem when that 11 don't do much.

ramsbottom
Just imagine if they get ASSA-BELONGA-TO-MA-MAMA to lose that 2 stone put on hanging around with Reid whilst injured. They'll be ordering the open top bus on 8th Aug...

RadioactiveWaste
Is it those slimming milkshakes? Is Andy Reid going to be doing the suggestive dancing singing "my milkshake brings all the gumps to the yard, and there like, we love Fawaz, he'll pay you, but it's bank holiday"
