I do give them credit, at least they are happy right now, not like the bunch of wrist slashers who support derby who are already moaning about the manager, cheering when players are substituted. Forest may have won the league already, but to listen to some it seems we have already written off this season.
DCFCArmy
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37009754 Its this sort of stuff that gets them the crap though lol... Their targeting Europe and trophies.
Carl Sagan
According to the Mail they're being sued by Villareal for non-payment of a loan player's wages from last season: ********************************************************** Nottingham Forest are facing legal action from Villarreal over former left-back Bojan Jokic. The Slovenian international was on loan at Forest last season with the Championship side picking up a percentage of his wages. However, despite agreeing to pay part of his wages, Forest fell behind and invoked a penalty clause that was in place should Forest fail to pay their stake at any stage. The Spanish side demanded £250,000 but then said they would waive the fee if Forest agreed to buy the 30-year-old on a permanent. Forest made an offer which fell short of Villarreal's valuation and La Liga side hoped negotiations would continue, however, Forest didn't return. Villarreal have now initiated legal proceedings in a bid to reclaim the unpaid salary. Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest star Michael Mancienne has turned down an approach from Olympiacos. ********************************************************* You have to scroll down towards the end of this article to find it (or just ctrl-F). The Olympiacos line at the end is a bit concerning. Who knows who really owns the club now given the two people involved (Fridgey and the Greek)? Mega inflated transfers to Olympiacos could sort out their FFP problems and everyone should be expecting a lot of dodgy dealings at the end of Brian Clough Way from now on. Got to be something in place to prevent the huge fees sort of thing happening surely? With regards to the villarreal thing, if true it really is a disgraceful way to act, its one thing after another with forest, surely it gets to the point were points deductions have got to be threatened, or some sort of suspended punishment such as expulsion if they do it again.
