Fed on broken glass with engine oil to wash it down. Then taken via carrier pigeon to Outer Mongolia, blind folded, made to hold a yard brush on the top of my head, spun around ten times and then, and only then, released to find my way home. i only had an American Express on me too! They knew damn well nobody accepts them buggers And if you told that to kids today. They would not Bloody believe you !

I guess if you want to be on the "frontline" dressed as a football hooligan then you have to expect some comeback. Nothing will get done about it. I walked around a corner at a motorway service station and for my pains I was smashed in the face by somebody. Apparently it was a Crystal Palace fan who took a shine to my scarf. It was in our first season in Div 1 under Brian Clough, on the way to Everton. I never asked for it, wasn't wearing a hooligan uniform - unless a scarf qualifies - and wasn't wearing a grandad vest, Levi clip-on braces, rolled-up jeans or even Doc Martens. I'll tell you what though - it was the last time for 10 years I didn't wear Docs when I went to football. Never had any real trouble since apart from with the Nottingham scuffer and his pooch's teeth.

If this is the case why was the kid who was whacked at the front of the police escort..? Surely if you were that injured and so innocent you would have just gone to the back or at least blended into the middle somewhere. It smacks to me of a group of fans who would for sure have been with a belly full of beer, trying to look all tough in front of their mates... Sympathy is very limited to be honest. Sorry that was my fault in posting the attack first.Part two was in fact the fans coming out of the ground and being held at the edge of the car park, then the first video is about ten minutes later about three hundred yards down the road.Even if this lad had had a few beers,as most of us had, this was completely unprovoked. The reason I started filming half way along is because I had seen this policeman swing at someone else about twenty seconds earlier and grabbed my phone in case he did it again, and he did. Inglorius
On a related note after watching the video footage every other word I can hear is a sexual profanity if I had kids I wouldn't take them within a million miles of a football ground if this is the norm

Inglorius
From my own experience of Notts policing I don't think that they have any more supplies of rubber hosing than any other constabulary
richinspain
I remember going to a game at Forest many years ago and the mounted police were terrible. The queue to enter the ground ran alongside a wall and one of the said Mounties insisted on using his horse to make everyone stand nearer to the wall, even though we were already up against it. I remember one father getting really cross because he was with his son of about 10 who was getting pushed all over the place by the horse.

Phoenix
7 arrests, eh. I think Forest should be docked 7 points.
Boycie
Apparently, the 5 forest fans charged out of the 7 fans arrested have been told they are banned from all forests home games? so they're basically banned for one game a season. badum! Tish!

You could have got locked up in Holbeck police station at Leeds and got kicked out after all the trains and buses to Derby had finished. That is a long walk Ossieram I remember it well (Looking over my shoulder all the time) and first thing I did was get into town and check Car Park (once I found it) where I thought me mates would be waiting for me in Car but they had left me. But I was lucky enough to find in same said Car Park a Mini Bus full of our Lads who were none to pleased having had tyres let down but gave me a lift back once they realised that Leeds had all gone and no chance of revenge! How did we ever cope without Mobile Phones!!!!!!
