Bris Vegas
They clearly went up a notch getting rid of survival Pulis and bringing in Hughes. If you want to just survive with 45-50 points every season, Pulis and Allardyce are your men.If you want to go further than that, you have to take risks and that's what Stoke have done. They could have easily gone backwards but Hughes is a decent manager and did well at Blackburn and Fulham.I'd say they've got to be aiming for top eight. You've got the regular top six plus Southampton, Everton, Swansea, West Ham United and Stoke who are probably the next five most established right now. Stoke should be looking to top this group.Reckon Southampton are the next best placed beyond the top six, then the other four battling for eighth. Mr. P
Stoke City - Too good to go down, not quite good enough for top 8. It's easy to forget about them. They just hang about. Established Premier League club. And that's all you can say.

StaffsRam
they play some lovely football since Hughes came in type of player they sign has completely changed This is all true, but I still dislike them on principle. The principle being that; - I live there - Most of my mates are Stoke fans - I don't like the boot being on the other foot. Should be us

I am Ram
Being solid and direct under Pulis , they were not moving up the table much, but were not going down. Hughes pushing for the next level playing attractive football is a gamble , they could go down . I like this
