Posted March 23, 201510 yr Promotion or not Mac to Newcastle is a done deal with Gary Rowett taking the reigns. Source from within the club.
March 23, 201510 yr Makes sense, I remember Rowett introducing himself to the players at half time the other week when we played Birmingham
March 23, 201510 yr Yep i heard that too....but i heard it before the play off final last year.....seems that didn't happen...?
March 23, 201510 yr Heard on the grape vine?..........I thought they'd just opened the velodrome near the IPro.......grape vine and all?......do you think that’s for the IPro drinks?........Source from within the club........Have we got a range of Sources they have in the club and all?, that nobody can buy in the shops, what they called it? Phil Brown Source?....to put on ya bangers and mash and Dead Red Source? to stick on your chips. We've probably got our own margarine behind closed doors and all, I think Lee Grant had a pre match chip butty during the week in training, the bap was smoothered in the club's secret margarine, and the kit man forgot to wash Lee's gloves for the match at Wolves.................what next, shirts sponsored by pickled onions or pickled eggs?
March 23, 201510 yr The Mac leaving is one thing but replacing him with Rowett would be a massive step backwards. Not saying he's a bad manager or even that he's not a good one, but he's a classic solid, English Football League manager.
March 23, 201510 yr If the source is trusted get down the bookies, the double on those two will get cracking odds, be like printing money!
March 23, 201510 yr If so, it's his loss. Imagine that though, promotion or not. Would a manager really give up a safe job to go to Newcastle, who are in all sorts of trouble by their own standards. It's just asking to take the blame for inevitable wobbles next season.
March 23, 201510 yr My name is Irwin Shultzman and I represent the estate of Marvin Gaye. I am here to inform you that the title of this thread bears startling similarities to a song performed by the late Marvin Gaye. We intend to sue for damages totalling $8,000,000. See you in court.
March 23, 201510 yr there would huge pressure on mac considering he was the Middlesbrough manager, mid table and you would be out on your ear.
March 23, 201510 yr I'd rather have Paul Clement.I have also heard the rumour that Mac has already signed a contract with Newcastle from someone that claims to know a coach so...

March 23, 201510 yr I'd like to see Simmo and Steele step up a level into Manager and Assistant. Either way around will do.
March 23, 201510 yr Simmo has messed up everywhere except his first job at Carlisle. No thank you.......... Steve Round would make more sense !! But JFL would be better. He is very impressive.
