Pearl Ram
Cardiff owner Vincent Tan has sanctioned a return to Cardiff's blue shirts as their first kit after a meeting last night. They will wear the kit for tomorrow's game against Fulham. The red kit will become their away colours. Seeing sense after pressure from supporters or a wizard marketing wheeze ? Kernow
Good. I would hate for some foreigner to come in and change our colour. Glad they get a bit of their history back.
Cisse
Tan is a joke anyway.
Archie
Difficult to turn them into a global brand now they're languishing in the 2nd tier, seemed the only plausible solution. Give him until the end of the season and the Tan man will have bored himself and sausaged off.
maydrakin
Pleased to see fan power wins out in the end. Once the premiership gravy train has moved on, the hardcore is all Cardiff have left...

Alph
In PL, change to red as they'll all accept that and we'll have a full ground In Champ, change to blue to get fans back after they've all decided the colour of the shirt matters now we aren't playing Sunderland and Stoke anymore. If they were in the PL they wouldn't be boycotting games. It'd be 25,000 or whatever every week again. Thought Tan was supposed to be stupid ? Changing black shorts to navy shorts is a bit different to changing a home shirt from blue to red. Just imagine the Americans saying that we would play next season with red home shirts, just imagine
jagerbob
Thankfully they wouldnt do that. Rush would take them all on at once if he had to , to protect our name. Just like Uma against the Crazy 88s.
maydrakin
Didn't think you could change colours part way through a season. They have received special dispensation from the league to do so for the remainder of the season.
Van der MoodHoover
Found the regulations here - under the section about fixtures kn the football league regulations site Think the Fullham game will be the only one they play in blue this season. Well found Davenport. Bit concerned about 38.2 - who plays in "stockings"?
