CumbrianRam
Spineless Football League as per usual.
Uptherams
This is pathetic. They should make the votes public. It would be interesting to see how certain clubs voted. I thought
EulogyForEvolution
Luckily, this won't arrive in time to save Forest from a transfer embargo in January. Very unfortunate for Assombaneedsapartner, who is looking a bit lonely when he plays up top.
Day
3 seasons for a **** or bust approach, will please Fawaz.
Lord_Ram
does this mean QPR will still be a playin in the conference if they dont pay the fines and get relegated?

Thorne
Bottom line, does it mean we can get away with spending more? (I know we won't in January even if we are top) but I was interested what this means in spending terms.
eddie
Bottled it Not bothered. The fact that the existing regulations stay in place until then mean that the gumps will be totally screwed this season.
Chris Mills
does this mean QPR will still be a playin in the conference if they dont pay the fines and get relegated? That will never happen anyway, but providing they get relegated before the 2016/17 season I'm assuming that the inital set of rules apply.
StringerBell
Victory for the over spenders then. Pathetic really. If everyone is supposed to be working towards this idea of the losses coming down every year and some clubs do this, then hypothetically speaking, we could have clubs who gave long contracts to a certain calibre of player, who they will now be stuck with, when they could have given a shorter contract and then spent more on a higher calibre of player in the 16/17 season. Thorne
FFP is just a bad idea on general. I don't see anything wrong is spending whatever you want to as long as it can be covered. Just smacks of jealousy and nothing else. If an Arab came an purchased us in 2008 instead of City and it was us that own league cups and titles we wouldn't be complaining. FFP is also listing responsible clubs in lower leagues such as the championship and letting teams like qpr and City get away with murder.
notts_ram
Im more than happy about this news it means that the rules of engagement have been set - no more sermons about FFP no excuses spend the cash or get left behind

Alph
FFP full of *****? Surely not? It was ****** from day 1 and the whole idea will be 6ft under and forgotten soon.
Stive Pesley
Does this mean 3 season STARTING from 2016/17 - so there will be impunity for all clubs until 2019/20? Or does it mean starting from 2016/17 they will look back over the previous 3 years filings?
TigerTedd
It will make for an interesting season in 2019/20 as several clubs will have gone for it, and only a total of 9 can get promoted in those 3 seasons, probably less as there will be some clubs yo-yoing, so there will probably be more than 3 clubs that will go **** or bust in 2019/20, and they cant all make it. TigerTedd
So that gives Forest 6 more years grace before they go out of business for good.
