admira
Second tier champions since the birth of the Premier League have accumulated 93.5 points on average, with runners up racking up 86 points. To make the Championship play-offs, a club needs to acquire at least 76 points on average. During the 94-95 season, Reading's points total of 79 has been factored into the runners up calculations, as well as the play-off averages, due to one less promotion spot up-for-grabs as the Premier League reduced to a 20 team league.
