sage
Good deal for both sides. I presume this means Russell is fit for Bournemouth,
DcFc Dyycheee
I like Jacobs, be a shame if he left on a permanent basis. Still only 21/22. But, good move for him, hopefully they start him in games.
Srg
So annoyed he never gets a chance with us.
-JW-
He must be so ***** in training cuz he always looks good when he comes on.
Mostyn6
I like the potential I see in Jacobs and think he could be as good as he wants to be. There has got to be a reason that Clough and now McClaren overlook him in favour of less 'exciting' players. He could be a duff in training and it does seem he's a bit lightweight and ineffective when it comes to the defensive side of the game. A few months of games would help him sort his head and his game out. Assuming he will start at Wolves. He needs a run, at any level.
bcnram
He does have some talent but is lacking in a few areas. Hopefully he will grab this chance with both hands and work hard at Wolverhampton otherwise he could see his career becoming a non-event compared to his aspirations. Kokosnuss
I'd rather play him off the bench than Bennett tbh, who I've been pretty disappointed in. (Even if he is still very young)
Nijul_cluff
Could this mean there could be truth in Raheem Sterling? Anyway back to the thread, i think it's a good deal for both sides, wolves are challenging for promotion and hopefully MJ gets a few starts. admira
Very surprised by this as I thought he had the potential to be a great player for us. Clearly not in Wally's plans.
RodleyRam
Shame for Jacobs he's not been given more first team time. My view may be slightly off because although I don't get to see many games it just so happens that every time I've seen him start he's scored! I think he's been good when he's played and suits a 4-3-3 more than a 4-4-2. I think we'll be signing Dawkins in Jan, can't see much point in Spurs keeping him and the manager seems to like him, so perhaps with the manager's preference for Bennett, this could spell the end for Jacobs at Derby. I hope he goes out and puts in a good run of games because I think he's got all the attributes to be a quality player at this level.
sheepshagarmy
Obvious talent, but not much more than that. A run of games will suit him & if he starts tearing it up in league one im sure it will be a huge confidence benefit for him & he will be playing more regularly for us. Good move for all party's this.
Kokosnuss
On the official site now anyway http://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/article/jacobs-makes-wolves-loan-move-1168534.aspx Winger to join League 1 outfit on loan until January. Derby County’s Michael Jacobs is to join League One side Wolverhampton Wanderers on an emergency loan until January 2nd 2014.
Scott129
Owen Bradley says he's still in Mac's long-term plans but the Birmingham Mail's reporting that the move is with a view to a permanent? I'd be a bit disappointed if this were to be the end of his Derby career.
SuperSheep
Surely that sako would be starting in front of him? Unless he's still going to 'join' florest...
loughboroughRAM
good move all round here...so long as it doesn't become permanent in Jan.. He's still young and fairly inexperienced, he'll be a very useful player in L1 so hopefully he can impress and force his way onto the pitch @PP, he's too good a talent to just disregard
