Mostyn6
Good, he has too much quality to be ostracised in such a thin squad.
Day
No move for Cisse? Would be my guess anyhow and we know 9 out of 10 of my guesses turn out to be facts.

Stive Pesley
One of the many unfathomables from the Clough era. What happened with James Bailey? He was clearly still "in" with the rest of the team - sat with them joking around at pre-season friendlies I attended - plus on Twitter he's still active in the squad banter. Anyone who saw him play will attest that he looked pretty useful. OK he may not have been first choice, but to not even be given a squad number for backup when injuries hit was just plain odd, He can't have been on stupid high wages, having come from Crewe in the Brayford deal, so if it was a financial thing then that would surely still stand post-Clough. Now he's back in the frame, it can only be that Clough rated him, played him and then suddenly stopped rating him. But why? People feel free to post rumours (or PM me)! Shuff264
Its difficult to say how good he will be when he hasnt been playing that much, always useful to have another capable midfielder waiting in the wings though.

Probably wound Nigel up by controlling the ball with the outside of the foot a la' Chris Maguire. I've always rated him and glad he's back in the frame. Hopefully the new coaches can iron out a few of the flaws in his game and get him involved again.

I think with good guidance could've been a lot better than he currently is.
uttoxram75
I think it was more a case of Jeff Hendrick's emergence coupled with Clough trying to run with such a small first team squad.
Stive Pesley
Well I never saw a great deal of difference in the quality of Bailey's football compared to hendrick. They seemed much of a muchness - both promising young central midfielders. But then what do i know?

They seemed much of a muchness - both promising young central midfielders. But then what do i know? I think the main difference between the two is a lot like the difference between Jamie Redknapp & Steven Gerrard. Redknapp could ping it about with the best of them but then stood around admiring his handy work whereas Stevie G is more inclined to follow on and cover every blade of grass. Of course I'm not comparing either Bailey or Hendrick in terms of ability to the other two. I guess what I'm trying to say is I think Nigel sees Bailey as a bit of a poser... Duracell
Well I never saw a great deal of difference in the quality of Bailey's football compared to hendrick. They seemed much of a muchness - both promising young central midfielders. But then what do i know? I agree with Ramsbottom. Bailey has Hendrick for dinner when it comes to passing and he often read the game very well and made great interceptions - which is just as well, because his tackling is awful. Hendrick is also a much better dribbler. That said, I still don't get why we treated him like we did. He's more than a useful player - and whilst I get that when you have a small squad, having such a specialist midfielder is a luxury you probably can't afford, I still don't get why we didn't keep him in the squad fit and ready for a sale. May Contain Nuts
Hendrick has also proven he can score some fantastic goals, Bailey managed one but never looked like getting a 2nd
Stedcfc
I get the feeling Bailey is a bit of a party boy and likes to go out a lot. I'm basing this on his instagram photos etc. Seems to hang round with a few page 3 girls too. So it was probably an attitude thing.
Duracell
James Bailey has made Derby County history by being the first Rams player to Instagram his way out of the first team picture.

Ramarena
If we are paying his wages still then we need to try and get some value for money out of him. Especially when we are struggling with injuries. Having him sat around twiddling his thumbs is not smart management.
