DerbyRam! Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 put everything else aside and focus just on this guy please I think he is an excellent young right back, maybe the best championship rb and still loads to learn. Am i the only one that thinks if we even have the slightest possibility to sign this guy on a permenant basis we should take it? I liked brayford but he cant hold a candle to this guy.
RIMBAUD Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 i've only seen him play in the cup game and today. looks quite good.
ladyram Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 He was our best player today imo, ran everything down that came his way and didn't give up. More of that please.
DerbyRam! Posted August 31, 2013 Author Posted August 31, 2013 I am actually quite drunk! but i still feel he is a very good player. I want him even more so after freeman's performance today, he is also very young but he is making alot of mistakes which have proved to be very costly, we should loan him out for the rest of this season at least to let him get some experience we would be lucky to sign adam, but if we can we should along with a new cb and we have a top 6 team i think(along as clough doesnt continue thinking playing bryson out of the middle is a good idea)
Cam the Ram Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 I'd agree he's good and I'd love for us to sign him, just don't agree with the part about him being better than Brayford and the best RB in the Championship
gfs1ram Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Thought he looked lively but does not 'overlap' the winger - he always seems to cut inside across the pitch. Still he is only young and can hopefully add the overlapping element to his game. Better than Brayford - er no way!
DcfcNews12 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Unfortunately Spurs like the guy a lot and were hoping he would of got a Prem Loan like Adam himself. Which is a Compliment saying we are the next best thing. They gave him a 3 year extension just before he came here. He's better than both Freeman and Brayford in terms of Potential and if he gets a run he would be our best defender.
Ambitious Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Best championship right back? played 3 games and has been largely average - looks promising but hardly breaking the boundaries of what a RB should be in this division.
Rich3478 Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Though he was good Tuesday but poor today, we have two right backs twice as good as our left back though.
AndyB Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Looks good. I think he'll play right back in our next game!
Bridgford Ram Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 He does look decent, but then so does Freeman. If only we had signed someone of that quality at CB or LB. Ps If we did sign him permanently we'd have to turn the pitch 90 degrees to ensure his bursting runs were forward rather than across the pitch.
Day Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Wonder how much of Bale he's been watching, maybe worth a shot at RM?

I saw that against Brentford - run 50-60 yards across the pitch and be as far out of position as possible.

Leicester Ram Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 This is what you do when you're drunk? I just talk about David Nugent's fitness...
Stedcfc Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Was the 3rd goal not his fault? Their guy had a free volley at the back post
Leicester Ram Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Was the 3rd goal not his fault? Their guy had a free volley at the back post No, it was Freemans fault.
Guest Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Was the 3rd goal not his fault? Their guy had a free volley at the back post I would hope Smith wasn't marking Shackell at a corner.

Completely agree. I don't see his future at Spurs. Hopefully something in January will be agreed. Brayford was a fantastic RB but this guy looks top quality. We must get someone in front of him and Freeman who isn't god awful at what they should be good at. Coutts is not a starting line up player.
