SuperSheep
Would definitely be a step in the right direction if we do get him. Don't think anyone can dispute that.some people already have about his aerial ability,

Scott129
some people already have about his aerial ability, Don't really see why. He's certainly not bad in the air, average at worst. And it's not like Keogh and Buxton are aerially terrible either.

CumbrianRam
Meh, does it really matter there are more players out there to get.
Bris Vegas
If he's not better than Keogh we should steer well clear.. Because Keogh is only an average NPC CB.. In Buxton and Keogh we have an average CB pairing, if Baptise isn't better than both of them then what is the point in going for him? We're no better starting 11 than we had last year.. We've just improved the squad a little to cope with injuries to the first team so that when a few get injured they're not replaced with dogsh!t.. Now is the time to bring in players who are better than our starting 11, alot better if possible.

randombc
Hard to compare Buxton and Baptiste. Baptiste is probably the better footballer, that no slight on Buxton because his ground game has improved immensely over the last year or so, but Baptiste is capable of playing in the premiership, I'm not sure if Buxton is. I still want to have Buxtons babies though...

I thought you would be all for baptiste - probably the most reputable footballing centre back in the division, and won praise in the premier league for doing just that. I thought you'd be head over heels about this signing in all honesty.

Yes you're right - but remember that some people only come on here to be negative. A choice of Baptiste, Buxton, Keogh, Barker - I like it - but Clough out anyway

I thought you'd be head over heels about this signing in all honesty. I haven't seen him play all that often to be honest.. That's why I was asking the question, because I genuinely don't know if he's better than Keogh or not.. He was rubbish when we played them at PP.. But he might have been brilliant in every other game?

Duffield Ram
The big question which nobody knows the answer too yet is. Will Shaun ever be the player he was? I really hope so and getting him back will be like signing a new player. Personally I am not a massive Keogh fan even though he is a better footballer than Buxton. I am another big fan of Buxton and his attitude. Baptiste over Keogh any day for me.
