Well I've seen all of sammons games bar two, Ipswich and hull away.

I feel entitled to give an opinion

opinions on here are like thinking of an excuse why you're late from work cause you've been to the pub on the way home.

They sound plausible until you get put under the scrutiny of the missus, or in this case, the forum.

No matter how hard you argue your case, you're just a womanising walking scum of the earth.

Or is that just me?

Well yourself and about 20,000 forest fans.

Don't like to slate individuals but we were so much better once Sammon went off. His control was awful and the one clear shot he had early on was skewed horribly wide. Embarrasing. Felt sorry for Jacobs being subbed as he was no worse than either Sammon or Ward first half. I'd start with Martin and Ward and have Jacobs wide left. Bennett also looked sharp when he came on.

how much longer has davies been in the game than sammon though? years of prem experience...

Don't personally see all the negativity towards sammon. yeah he may not be a 20+ goal a season man but his overall play brings our midfield into the game and hence why hendrick has started to score goals. Im not saying thats totally down to sammon but its definitely a contributing factor in my opinion along with hendricks soaring confidence recently.

Sammon rushes defenders into mistakes (Like against forest) and it goes largely unnoticed! the amount of times we've won throw ins up the field from sammon/ward pressure on defences is actually very high and this then obviously leads to chances and goals! Theo may get a goal that sammon wouldnt, but theos overall play is largely ineffective, he loses confidence easily whereas sammon is fully committed.

In over 30 games it happened once, thats it was it worth 1.2 million?

Had a stinker today. Really, really poor. But his job isn't made easier by basically having to stand on his own.

I think he needs a break. He's got a confidence issue at the moment - the crowd don't help but he's a pro footballer, he should be able to stand up to the abuse and perform. That's what separates other scapegoats we've had like Darryl Powell and Ian Taylor - they could still make valuable contributions whilst taking flak. That's not happening for him at the moment.

Clough has a tough decision to make sooner or later. Bennett was really impressive today, and if he keeps making good cameo appearances, NC may have to swallow his pride.

I'm still willing him to do well and I still think he has something to offer the team, but going away for a couple of weeks and working out what it is might be the best thing for him.

Derby will always be sh1te whilst we play Sammon. He is a liability everywhere on the pitch.

Is he the worst player Derby have ever signed for over £1 million?

We've had games this season where we haven't been sh*te whilst he's been on the pitch, and because of him.

I disagree Asanovic. He has been carried by others this season.

He cannot shoot, head or control. Pretty fundamental for a striker.

He has also not scored in 9 games. Anyone else would be dropped.

My issue is we are stuck with him for three years. No one will buy him and Clough won't drop his one million striker because he runs a lot. Pity we don't win games anymore.

I think he won't drop him because he paid "£1.2m" for him. Accepting defeat an all.
