Ashley if he wanted the club he could have come in with £50 million and still have had a competative team in place with minimal additions and the club could have had a good chance of staying in the championship, with Jags, Shinne and others still here, instead he wants the club on the cheap, how much will a rebuild cost more than £20 million? sure it will
If he had bought in January or earlier he would have been able to retain all the acadamey players which we had to sell for peanuts, if they had been retained and played for the team they would have been worth way more than £20 million, blinkered view from Ashley and others with their false economic views of the club.
CK is the man along with Rooney, Rosinor and Darren Wassel of the acadamey fame are the ones to take our club forward, it maybe a slow journey but it will be done the right way, no more poo or bust for our club again.

When you are a buyer whichever business you are in there are ways to do a deal, whatever the obstacles.
KC stepped away from the club and then came back,  as the preferred bidder, that is always a good sign he wants the business/club, you should be so happy that he all being well will save the club, what i have heard and seen from KC the club should be in good hands.
No i do not know what KC is worth for not interested, the only people who need to know are the EFL to pass him fit and proper to take over the club, the administrators and Derby County already know that he has the funds to do this.

Ashley is a known quantity which is why most people including me would advocate him taking over. He would have good liquidity - let’s face it he’s got £300m from Newcastle sale alone!! We don’t know CK, he’s been able to keep his wealth private and fair play to him for that but it makes people nervous. We have to trust that through Q he’s proven the necessary liquidity to take this on.

So let’s assume he can take it on, I’m really trying hard to remain cautious but it’s hard not to be excited about his vision for the club, his alignment with Rooney and he seems very interested in improving the fan experience, the catering offerings everything around it. Ashley wouldn’t care about any of that. He wants to build around the academy, Ashley wouldn’t care about that either.

You know the best way to judge the mood, look at the Forest activity on Twitter re:Derby’s situation and how its got quieter and quieter in recent days, maybe CK is actually the real deal and as Rooney says maybe we are about to witness a rebirth of a great club (without being a Phoenix of course!).
We’ve had pain for god knows how long, duck it let’s have a bit of optimism and if we beat Fulham tomorrow we’re staying up n’all!!

Having such a great team and going to home and away games, never noticed pressure till after our final game and then we had to wait till midweek for one outstanding match then that was pressure, and the 90 mins was an eternity, do not want to name the teams and spoil it for others for the lads who are putting this season together are doing a great job.

Let’s just hope everyone gets behind CK now and I think he has shown he is not a tyre kicker as he is addressing the correct problems first.
A lot of the criticisms towards him seem petty considering the alternative of liquidation.
There may have been a few bidders in the background but he has come back and stepped up to put his money where his mouth is and trying to right the wrongs from our previous owner.
I am just pleased that we were lucky enough to get someone like him to take a chance on us as the other option of losing my club would have totally devastated me.
I know the takeover is not complete yet but I for one will be giving him 100% support and at last I feel positive about Derby’s future which is great after the last year of depression and negative news surrounding our great club.
