Is this transfer dead in the water too?

Those two buggies crashing at the world championships is a symbol of our recruitment in the transfer window.

Does anyone understand what is going on with these recent transfers? What is all the constant yeah there's incoming, oops no there's not, s***? This is worse than poor old Rooney and the take-over talk! 😄
Why not just keep quiet? This latest 'two by 6pm', why?
It is baffling.

It’s done the opposite hasn’t it? People within the fan base seemed to know about it with no external noise, yet today two journalists from national papers have said it’s happening.
It has. Has the journalists been browsing the forums looking at Big Travs posts?

Never said which time zone
Very true. Maybe it's 6PM at the never ever time zone.

I thought he was all lined up to sign for us and has had pictures taken yesterday for the media. Now it's all gone quiet.

I actually kinda feel for PW at this stage, every time he does an interview because he thinks we’re about to sign somebody something goes pear shaped 😂.
Anybody that’s had anything to do with Derby over the last few years knows that setting time limits or saying the word “imminent” is like signing your own death warrant.
Seems very strange how all these so called signings we have lined up appear to drop off the cliff.

There goes 6pm...

Midday tomorrow (Friday) to register new signings to play on the Saturday?
Surely something by then?
Fingers crossed. I don't feel overly optimistic though as we don’t seem to be able to get the deals over the line at the moment.

Not sure why Fornah hasn’t been announced yet, pictures were taken yesterday
Is this something we should be concerned about do we think?

Fornah is a defensive midfielder, who will inject a bit of pace to the midfield. Composed footballer, by all accounts, but he’s not going to be here to provide goals and assists. He will fill gaps and stop teams hitting us on the counter so easily, hopefully he can help the team out of possession and free Hourihane up to have a more progressive role in the side.
51 minutes ago, DerbyAleMan said:We have needed this sort of player for a long time now, hope it comes off, as like you say, it will free Hourihane up, to get in around the opposition box, where we all know he has a eye for a goal. If this comes off it will be a very good signing.
Well said and I totally agree. It will help us get a grip on the game and getting out ran in the middle of the park.

Tomorrow should be fun 🙂
In a good way ?

Central midfield has to be the priority. We need at least one more central midfielder at the minimum.

I’ve heard that Tyrese Fornah has passed a medical and should be announced shortly
I hope so !
Great news if this is true.

Anyone know what has happened to this central midfielder we was looking to bring in?

Think the signing of Tyrese Fornah is absolutely brilliant, everything we need.
Adds an extra body into the midfield, 6ft1, championship and league one experience, energetic, can play in several positions in the midfield.
Good timing with Birds injury. If it is a loan, his contract expires next summer so a chance if he impresses, could be made permanent.
From how it sounds, he will be good for us!
Sounds like an ideal type of signing to me. A centre midfielder with legs is exactly what we need.

It was good to have the drummer back!

But only one poor performance before some of our supporters turn on him.
You will always get those who seem to get off by slating our players. Even when they have scored the winning goal.

So who do we think this centre mid is that Paul Warne was referring to? Tyrese Fornah?

Are we looking at signing players very recently relegated or is it that is what is available
Whatever is available within our budget.

Seems odd he would go from tearing up league one to struggling in league two.
Tyrese Fornah - signed on a 2-year deal
