I wonder what his main motives where for leaving us for Oxford. Increase in wages? Or more guarantees around his playing time? Or the position he was being asked to play?

Took me 3 attempts.
Expand to full screen.
On 0:04, he's hiding behind his mate's black gloves/phone at the very bottom centre of the screen.
On 0:30, his mate has put his 'phone down, and you get a full side view as he joins in the "Derby, Derby". Bottom right corner of the screen.
Thank you. I will try again 🙂

Don't know loads about Yates coming in on loan but if he's a good championship striker why don't Swansea want to use him ?
He doesn't suit their system and style of play. I think they try and play with a target man who brings others into play. Yates is more of a in the box predator than someone who will hold up the ball and brings others in play. He can press from the front through which PW will obviously like.

Be interesting to see how we line up.
Yates, Collins, Washington, Jackson, NML, CBT, Barkhuizen…
There are that many forward options there that suggest a four at the back… which then brings Wilson into play as a wide-man.
4-4-2? Will we see some departures? Are we wasting money?
I think we will play a mixture of playing 343 and 352. So having versatility across the frontline is key.

Collo is a great guy to have around the dressing room who offers something different to Yates. He is fairly big and strong and puts himself about a bit which makes space for others. He is another good option to have up top with Yates who is more a fox in the box and Wash who likes to stretch play.

He is, similar to Bird. I’ve done a deep dive into fan comments from both Excelsior and AZ and the consensus is that he’s technically a very good player but really struggles physically. A few eyebrows raised about his potential destination of choice (Championship) which is seen as a very physical league, although I’m not sure it is. I’d say it’s fast paced, which is why some struggle, but wouldn’t say it’s physical.
Sounds exciting, hopefully he isn't too lightweight. It sounds like he could complement Osborn and Ebou (if we sign him) perfectly as both og them get about and put their foot in.

Yates is a fox in the box and if given the service will score goals. Collo provides more physicality, will get about up top and is also able to find the back of the net. NML and Jackson should also contribute a fair few goals. Plus maybe another CF if we let Washy go and Brown on loan.
We need to strengthen in midfield but hopefully they can chip is as well. Then we have set pieces too!

Do we know what type of midfielder Kenzo is? He sounds a bit like a deep lying playmaker form what I've read, but I have never seen him play before.

Be nice to have a “Hold up striker “ , when we are under a lot of pressure (Say away to Luton) . When the ball keeps coming back . Young John O’Hare would do nicely.
I agree. Yates is a fox in the box but his told up play isn't the best a big target man would be a nice option to have.

Yates and Jackson would both come into my starting 11 of contracted players in a front 3 with NML (343). More bodies in central midfield and a goal keeper is a must now. Also a LWB of Sibs doesn't sign up.

Theo Bair. Young, physical centre foward whose 6"3 and got 15 goals last season for Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership.

Jackson is not really a CF.
He's a wide foward who can and has played at CF though. If we had a front three of say NML Yates and Jackon they could all interchange at times.

Rumoured Striker Options so far 24/25
James Collins
Dajaune Brown
Jerry Yates
Kayden Jackson
Connor Washington
Last Season’s striker options
James Collins
Connor Washington
Martyn Waghorn
Dwight Gayle
Tyreece John Jules
The step up in quality is undeniable between the two divisions and I’m struggling to see a major difference between the two lists
Move on Washington, let Brown go on loan and bring in another CF then we will be talking. Collo, Yates, Jackon and another CF to be confirmed.

In an ideal world I’d like both. Alongside Yates that revolutionises our front line. If I had to choose one it would be Jebbison because he brings height to the forward line.
I would probably agree with this. I think they are of a similar level and would have similar wage demands. Jebbison would bring some extra height to complement the likes of Yates and Washington who are quite a bit shorter.

Be more interesting if we can spot Sibley or Collins today
I heard rumours that Collo was staying and Sibs was off. That all seems to have done quiet now.

Would you take Jebbison or Mubama in an ideal world?

Will help boost the clubs income.

That does sound insane. Wasn’t the rumour a while ago they wanted £500k and we were more like £250k? They’re not getting £2.5m with no other interested parties, the player wanting to go here, barely any record at Championship level and 1 year left on his contract.
That would be crazy if the valuation has gone up to 2.5 million. Unless they have seen we have some money from the Kellyman sell on clause and want to milk us for it.
