Cardiff have signed Famara Diedhou. I wonder if that would free up Derby boy Kion Etete. Weren’t we linked with him in the summer? He’s 6 foot 4 and good on the ball. Doesn’t score loads of goals but do think he’d be a good striker at this level. He has 5 goals in 25 games this season with only 11 being starts. 
 
Also has great pressing and defensive stats so would suit our high press. Also being a physical presence in the box for crosses.

He is exactly what we're missing in midfield, he is a ball winning machine. He's the nastiest we need in midfield. It's given me a bit of hope that Warne can see the issues we're having in midfield and looking to address it.
However, his fitness and injuries issues are a big concern.

Fapetu sent off for coming onto the pitch before 30 seconds after an injury.
That is the job of the fourth official and the referee between themselves to control that, instead, the fourth official just seemingly let him come back onto the pitch without really trying to stop him.

3 years ago and had a couple of injuries since then. Wednesday fans don't like him either and say his legs are gone.
Incredibly uninspiring. Warne specifically said we were looking abroad at players, yet come the end of the window we're looking at ANOTHER Wednesday player, over the age of 30 and on big money. 
What's the scouting department doing? Or is Warne ignoring them?
Looking at Thomas' signings for Oxford, there's absolutely no correlation.
