Not to say that means he's coming here... but looks likely he's off somewhere!

Also... noticed Blackpool have signed another LB/LWB in Hayden Coulson from Middlesbrough... maybe the rumour a couple of months back about us being interested in CJ Hamilton had some legs to it?

Burnley have recalled Michael Mellon from his loan spell at Morecambe (apparently to send him back out on loan to a team higher up the Football League)... one can hope!

I think he and Palace parted ways partly because of his injury record and partly because he wanted a higher chance of senior football. 

He looks decent in the few games he's played... would like to see him play a few more games at that level before potentially putting him in with the 1st team though personally.

Squad depth/players with potential wise, I went to watch Curzon Ashton v Southport on Boxing Day (yes, I know... I'm weird) and they had a couple of players that looked to have potential to make a step up... these being Devon Matthews (CB) and Stefan Mols (CM). Both in their early 20s.

Ipswich have just signed another winger/AM on loan... Wonder if they'd let Marcus Harness go out on loan... Would be a good addition.

They've had more possession and more chances... but we should have been playing against 10 men for the last half hour which could have changed the game completely. Fuming...

Hmm... not sure how that's not a sending off for a second yellow but oh well... GET IN! 🐏

Mendez-Laing for me. Fun to watch and by far the most goal contributions.

As an option up top, this lad seems to have a bit of everything... Tall. Good in the air. Good close control. Fairly quick. Good finisher. If we can get him for a reasonable price, could have good re-sale value too 🐏

The best we can hope for in January IMO... I think one of either Cash or Bird will have to be sacrificed to make a full-on promotion push. A front 3 of Mendez-Laing, Clarke-Harris and Blackett-Taylor... how much would it cost to have those on the back of a shirt?! 😃

Extend Nyambe's contract until the end of the season.

If the budget's there for a couple of permanents... Owen Moxon from Carlisle to bring some energy to midfield and Corey Blackett-Taylor at Charlton looked a handful on the wing.

A loanee to bring pace/depth to the wide areas... Mateusz Musialowski (Liverpool) and/or Luca Barrington (Brighton) have both looked decent in the odd u21 game I've watched this season.

A bit more of a "hold-up" centre-forward than we currently have... Michael Smith at Sheff Wed hasn't been playing much or (yes, I know he's 33) Andy Cook from Bradford plays that kind of way and was the L2 top scorer last season. Not saying either to start every week, but would give us something different!

Blowing the whistle directly after they score the pen? Surely some more time needed adding on for that?! Topped off one of the worst refereeing performances I've seen here recently.

Gutted.
