I need to post something in here today to balance the general mood of despair

I had my 6 year olds Parents Evening on Monday and for the first time EVER (having two boys, one of whom has no left school) when discussing boys general difficulties with concentration and staying focussed in lessons, the teacher actually said

"but of course it's not just their fault, I realise it's also my responsibility to make the lessons engaging enough that they don't let their minds wander"

I nearly fell off the tiny ******* chair! It restored my faith to hear a teacher say that and not just slate the kids for being disruptive

Not knocking you mate but I think that's wrong. Children should do as they're told, it's all about rules and authority in my opinion.

I was talking to a pretty young primary school teacher in the pub the other day, she was banging on about this disruptive lad and how the head gave her the afternoon off to go and play football with him on the yard 'to bond'

I asked her if she thought it was a good idea "definitely, hopefully he respects me more now"

Schools are ran by wishy washy clowns nowadays, fooking birch rod em!

Don't have a Ram with DCFC underneath it if you plan to live most of your life in a Stoke supporting community......

I've lasted this long behind enemy lines with a ram on my forearm, had to blag it and say it was a Capricorn tatt once though!

something that has annoyed the **** out of me for as long as I can remember, it started with Radio Stations, and has extended to Music TV stations, Movies and now Music compilations.

    Censoring words.

In my opinion, if a song has a word in that you don't want to be heard, then do not play the song. That'll learn gangsters to use the N word in their rap songs. But it then started affecting films, even the "Yippee KeyYay .." bit in Die Hard 2!

But listening to a Hip Hop Compilation, which has "parental advisory" stickers all over it, faded out the N word. Grrrrr

What about 2 Pacs great - Hit 'em up! Three minutes of silence?

Slow  Its the best hot hatch reasonable money can buy, by a long way!

What tin bucket do you drive?

I like the ST's mates got the MK2 been through two gear boxes so put the RS one on it. Still got my old 106 gti and 5 gt turbo, 106 needs some work the 5 has been restored and now sits in the garage. Love my hot hatches.

Clio V6 some machine that, used to be one running ITB's round my way, sounded like thunder.

Barmy Flags. They're best company and the guy called Charlie he done excellent job for my flag, also you'll have fire certificate on the back of the flag. :)

Agreed, and as I know froggg likes his history, the flags are made in an old mill in Saddleworth where they used to make the fabric for the wings of the Hurricane fighter.

  6. I was a bit daft when I got my flag made, it's far too big there's nowhere in the NE corner to put it. Probably only take it to a few away days and the odd England match, shame really.

  7. Got mine ready for France next year, 10x5 so a bit too big for PP especially where I sit.

Got a little cheapo St. Georges DCFC  one that came free with a shirt a few seasons ago. Does the job out my window in SE London, low enough to see it from the main road, high enough away from jealous hands...

    Faaack off Millwall
