    I've seen a couple of gigs where the lead singer has been far to wankered and they're very uncomfortable to watch. 

     

    God know's if he's going to be able to finish this tour. 

     

    Really? To be honest i've only recently started going to watch bands (dirty clubber) and I don't know if I could watch him like that again as it's nearly 10 years since I saw them. Just had a look at tickets, £25! Think i'll wait for Pete and Carl to inevitably perform again...

    Sound's like he's already on one of his famous benders mate haha.

     

    Oh dear... I don't know what to think or how much more abuse his body can take? Is it even worth going to Sheffield to see him like that? I mean, I saw him screaming Libertines songs on top of a car in Hanley after getting booted out of the club and although I loved it I felt like I was watching death. I dunno  :unsure:

    very similar to me! Even though I've lived in Derby all my life, I'm going into town Sunday night!?! As no one goes out on a Monday now, don't know if its us getting older town just doesn't do it for me anymore, have to have your wits about you nowadays

     

    Haha yeah, very true. Too many young pumped up popeyes getting jealous over our understated lady charming ways.... Without wanting to put a downer on it all... I dunno about you but I have only just accepted that it isn't going to come back.

     

    Monday - Hanley,

    Wednesday - Newcastle under Lyme/Chester/Shrewsbury/Liverpool

    Friday- Newcastle under Lyme

    Saturday - Football then Hanley or wherever we happened to be playing away

    Sunday - Cars

    One holiday a year

     

    Loved every minute of it.

     

    Hopefully moving along the A50 after new year, can't wait as it's mostly pub and live music for me now  :lol:

    yeah the white label version is amazing, the first minute gives me goosebumps, I imagine you also remember going out all day on bank holiday Mondays, 11am bus into town, In berlins for midday, get down sadlergate, hit all bars around there, back to berlins then hit everywhere at night, roll in at 3/4am the next day and be up for at 7am! How we used to manage it like you say. Messy Messy times

     

    I remember doing it a few times with football mates but sadly, I didn't grow up in Derby. I miss it terribly, out all night Friday, train into Derby or wherever Saturday morning and watch us completely rip teams apart whilst still under the influence.

    quality fella, set you free is my favourite ever, but got all the classics on many CDs etc 3 or 4 times over. Did Ibiza in 99, went to manumission judge Jules, sonique and then Lisa Loud were playing that night, I was there until 8am 10000 people going mad! Loved it, it cost me £28 to get in back then!

     

    Haha yeah! I keep meaning to put them on my laptop, got stickers to mark which tracks and everything but haven't got round to it.

     

    Set you free was being played years before it was ever released wasn't it? Heard they were pretty much bullied into it as they were happy just doing sets... 

     

    Brilliant wasn't it! I had an Ibizan girlfriend at the time and honestly thought I had made it haha... I went back last year for the first time since but just explored and beached it. I don't know how we did it..... or even afforded it  :lol:
