  1. Femi Azeez would be the one from Reading. Believe he's out of contract, too.
  2. Conceded just 7 goals with him on the pitch. (17 games).
  3. 3 on your 'let go' list are under contract.
  4. Barnsley will win it. Rotherham and Barnsley are the same club so can't be in the same league, so therefore, they have to win.
  5. I don't mean any offence by this, but that just seems such a miserable and sad outlook to have on it. As a football fan of a normal (I'm hesitant to call Derby normal) club who no one in their right mind would glory support, you seldom get anything to ever celebrate. You rarely achieve a thing. If you can't enjoy it, specifically when we have gone through what we have, what's the actual point in it all?
  6. All depends on the recruitment, of course, but 12th-17th will be the realistic target for me.
  7. I hope so. I feel like I've seen enough to see there's something there with him. Pre-season will be massive for him.
  8. In what world would Smith accept a pay as you play? Or would Alfie May come cheaply? Some in this thread are on a different planet, I swear.
  9. There’s more teams than most would imagine that try to play football. Just, in general, they end up being pretty blunt in the final third because the quality of pass, movement or shot is less consistent.
  10. found it. Either it’s coincidental and Wildsmith has signed, the piss is being taken out of Brighton rumours or someone is going Brighton.
  11. Don’t know the exact words as I haven’t seen it myself, but the players are still out now and went on Instagram live and told Joe to tell everyone the good news. Sounds like he’s staying.
  12. Carlisle fan vlog. Pretty good watch, to be fair. Slightly too much filming of the back of the people in front of him, but good nonetheless.
  13. Seen Tom Bayliss confirmed being released by Shrewsbury. Would definitely give that a look for midfield. Bonus he’s a Derby fan.
  14. Somewhere in Notts I think.
  15. If I had to choose one thing, one word, that he’s improved, and Warne said this himself post match yesterday, it would Culture.
  16. I’d question if any Derby fan is actually human if they didn’t get emotional at least once yesterday. We nearly lost it all. Everyone has their ritual, whether it’s going with lifelong friends and getting on the beers, travelling from afar to visit home, seeing family they may otherwise rarely see… would be all gone There were kids that pitch who were probably too young to remember the Villa play off loss, let alone the QPR one, they wouldn’t have seen a single moment of success watching us. I’m 33 and don’t remember promotion in the 90s, all I have is 07. Suppose we could support Man City? Nah, never, that’s not football. That’s not belonging. That’s not family. There’s a lot of pain in the recent past, and yesterday was a stark reminder of what may never have been again.
  17. Don’t think any of them had extensions to “trigger”. Dont think we had the capability of putting them in our contracts at the time. What we did do with Fornah, Wilson and Washington is put a clause in for some kind of fee upon promotion with the up front fee being free. Cashin and NML just signed new extensions. Nelson has another year anyway.
  18. Not a fan of his commentary at all, but can’t deny he really encapsulated the emotion.

Competition in which you’re trying to win. If that was the most effective way to win a game of snooker, then yeah. Again, it’s sport, you go to support someone winning.

If you want Sports Entertainment I think that’s what WWE calls itself.

100%, we went into the season without our desired striking options. The one he did get was Washington... who's been injured (there's a theme of mainly older players getting injured here). He's been polishing a turd for much of the season. We can argue about who's fault that ultimately is, but it's all with the cloud of restrictions over it so we will never really know. He tried to get his Ebou with Fornah but it turned out he wasn't exactly that type of player - whether that was poor scouting or not, could be another question. Personally, think Fornah does have things to offer and could've been used more but he's another one who's been injured in the background.
  22. 1 was a whopping dive. 2 is one of those where you have seen it given, but I don't believe it should be. He's like a yard away from it. As for the comparison with Coventry yesterday, there was a greater distance. The third one is the real one I'd be annoyed about.

Warne has pretty much been trying to find Ebou Adams since the start of the season. Then he did, and not long after his other best midfielder in Max Bird got injured. Korey Smith was also injured at this time. His only fault was sticking with Hourihane for so long even when there were other options.
