Id rather look at it as we have overperformed at Pride Park and Rooney has pulled off an incredible points return at home considering the lack of quality in the squad.

Fans , players, management and backroom staff have all been magnificent. A huge well done to them all.

That we came this close is astounding - You have to remember that in the first half of the season the squad, albeit threadbare and small, was stronger than it is now. Couldn't be prouder of what they've done.

Yeah but the red dogs don't let facts get in the way do they. If this guy knew how to search correctly he would know the following:
His planes N-number is N9CK, which resolves to a Gulfstream Aerospace GV-SP (550). It has a range of 6,750 miles so sufficient range to get to the UK. It is registered by a company that manages investments for private individuals (KFIM LLC) and was registered in Delaware on 03/05/2021 (which matches up with when he was meant to have bought it).
I think @Crewtonis right in that it's damaged and is currently being repaired, hence using a rental.

You did indeed, it's also likely that his page wouldn't have the range to reach the UK. Therefore, need need to hire one....

Okay, just to let people know, we will not allow screenshots of Nixon's patreon tweets, in the same way we don't allow Athletic articles in full.
Don't agree with journalism behind paywalls, but we have to respect it.

CK is a businessman, he will want to pay as little as possible and get the best possible return, therefore he will be hoping that the club can pay off the additional 10p in the pound, it's perfectly logical business sense.

Well CK has alluded to this so it's not entirely surprising that people are talking about it. If we're to be sustainable on the pitch then we need to grow the off the pitch side of things, it's not rocket science. It doesn't have to mean huge investment, it does need some imagination though.

Brighton have done it to an extent but they've been more focused on their 'in the ground' catering. That part of their stadium is definitely better than ours.
It was one thing that made me prefer Kirchner to Ashley, I was confident he would be looking closely at how we grow revenue to be sustainable, and the catering offering is an obvious contributor to that. Ashley would undoubtedly be looking at how we cut costs to be sustainable. I know whose stadium would provide a more pleasurable experience.

This is slightly incorrect, my rugby team Gloucester have WiFi which works flawlessly at the ground and usually c15k people there.

My only interest in Ashley is that he has done it before, and would be keen to get us promoted to the PL to make us profitable. The massive downside is that I think his ownership would make supporting DCFC a dour, miserable experience. I would expect virtually no off-field investment or engagement.

I like what Bristol do, live band stage and beer sales outside, we have the room to take it further, maybe a food court with something other than burger vans, develop the bar at the back of the SS for instance with music or a screen, decent cover from the rain, seating and heaters, but most importantly, OUTSIDE TOILETS.
