same, spent a few months re-writing Bombardier Train Maintenance Documents, using Simplified English, so they could be easily translated into Indian once the trains were too old and were sold on.

I used to be a technical author, urged to phrase such matters in such a way that a layman could comprehend.

Put two white circles around your posts, then they won't be such a Mysteron to everybody.

It's been a thing for a long time, for things like using a foreign object (e.g. a hat) to deliberately stop the ball or for the ball striking a discarded helmet. "Dangerous play" is a new one on me - although Madsen has been struck about 3 times this season when taking a quick single, so why was Brathwaite singled out this time?

I had one - once.
I was monitoring and administering the direct mail marketing campaigns for MBNA when they were bringing out their 'platinum' card at the start of the 1990's. I was offered one (probably as a sweetener for the number of hours of overtime I was putting in on the project) and accepted. Interest was about 28% APR so I always paid it off before the end of the month - it was a useful thing to have because the local ATM where I was working in Dublin didn't accept my bank debit card (this was in the days before 'Link'.
Not had one for the last 20 years.

An incredible number.
Going back about 20 years or so, I used to do a little ball-by-ball commentary for CricketWeb. We covered the ODI world cup final and we thought we were doing well if we got 250K hits.

One more game at Chesterfield this season, the one day cup fixture against Yorkshire on the 21st of August. Which just happens to be my birthday ?
I think a second T20 and One day cup game next season would make sense.

I think most long-standing Derbyshire followers (and probably allot of visiting fans and teams) would love it if we played more games at Queens Park - it's such a lovely place to play and watch cricket.

What a festival in my home town !! A win for Derbyshire in both red & white ball. How I yearn for the good old days when we used to get 18 days of Derbyshire cricket in Queens Park

I asked at the start of the season for Derbyshire to be 'competitive'.
Well, we've got that in spades.

Boundary riding is different to what Dal usually does in the field...in any case I’m picking Dal 99 times out of 100 and that 1 other time I’m picking Alex Thomson. That’s just the one thing he’s actually doing well. Conners bowling just asks to be hit for boundaries in T20.

£3.50. The Chimay White is £3.00 (that's also on sale at Morrisons).
I picked half a dozen of each up today.
The UK supermarkets have finally begun to get the message - sell the world's best beers at a decent price and people will buy them.
