It is a remarkable coincidence but, according to our website, that's the same number Cambridge gave us last year.

Thanks for that, felt sure it must've been a mistake.

Tickets on sale for Cambridge tomorrow, total allocation 1,473.

That seems a little odd, that's the same number as Northampton sent us, I wonder if it's correct or has someone forgot to update the number when using the away match ticket template?

  3. Sadly I had a look at this yesterday despite knowing it's a pointless exercise being as that probably all of the teams who are currently in promotion/play off contention will have some unexpected results - however, having said that I still went ahead and did it and calculated that we need 90 points to get second spot but we'll need to beat Carlisle to ensure promotion as Barnsley, Bolton and Peterborough will pick up enough points to take it to the last match. I hope I'm wrong (and I'm sure I will be) as I'd really like us to be promoted before the last match so that we can relax, celebrate all day long and be happy to watch a crap performance against Carlisle like we did in 1975 🤞

Did anybody actually see the incident that led to his red card ???

I'm not positive about this but just before the corner was taken that led to the incident I saw a Derby player go to ground at the far post (Bradley I think but I could be wrong) I then saw a Northampton player go to ground at the near post and half expected the ref to stop the corner and have a word with all concerned as usual - he didn't and what then happened happened - next thing was the scuffle and the red card - I didn't see who did what but Bradley was walking off before the ref showed him the card so he must've thought he'd done something worthy of a sending off to start walking and maybe if he had been thrown/knocked to the ground, maybe the red mist just descended - no excuses for him though if he did do it, a seasoned professional like him should know better. I hope some video evidence comes to light to show us what actually happened, I'd be really interested to see it.

  5. I'm all for open and sensible discussion but blimey, Dryhorce is prattling on a bit isn't he and especially as he seems to know as little about Derby County and what we need as Tommy Docherty did (a Scottish link I'm sure he's not old or wise enough to know about). Anyway, my suggestion to stop his prattling is to lock this thread until we know what division we're going to be in next season as the players we'll be in the market for and who will want to come to us will depend on what division we're in - wotcha think mods?

I have a spare Bristol Rovers ticket if anyone would like to buy it. I'm too far from Derby to return it but I can meet you in Bristol.

I want two tickets as neither me or my mate who are both in the +5 category got tickets but as we're trying to get to the +10 category we wouldn't buy them off anyone unless they were in our name and therefore counted towards our 10 - In my opinion you have plenty of time to post the spare ticket back to the club and get a refund and then it'll go to someone on the waiting list which, again in my opinion, is the only right thing to do with their being 5 days before the match as it may be the one ticket they need to get to their next category. So go one, be a good un and send it back to the ticket office.

Seriously, why would you post on a thread about away tickets when you have posted that you have no interest in actually going to games.

No one is bullying you, just responding to your constant carping.

I started the away ticket thread to communicate and where possible help other fans with any information I might have, and quite frankly I find it insulting that you think I’m saying I’m a better fan than anyone else and I’m sure anyone looking at this thread is not looking for more Warne out jibes.

You say you won’t be bullied and then tell me to stick to commenting on the football.

How about you stick to posting up information from other sites, something you do that is actually useful and informative 🍻

And I for one really appreciate your away ticket updates, I find them very helpful and being in the 5+ bracket this season they prepare me for how quick I'm going to have to be when tickets go on sale to my category so thanks from me (and I'm sure many others) for all your efforts and updates. 👍🙂

That's fair enough. I support Derby too (ST holder and 15+ away member), but for someone like me who has a 230 mile round trip every home game £537 to watch a style of football that I can't stand its just not worth it. I'll always follow the club, but unless we're in the Championship next season or Warne is gone in the summer I'm not renewing.

And that's fair enough too - if I lived that far from Derby then I might think differently but as I've only ever lived a bus ride away, travelling to and from home games has never been an issue.

I wasn't having a dig at anyone with my post so apologies if it came over that way, everyone has to make up their own mind based on their individual circumstances, I was just stating how I felt based on my personal circumstances.

They can only sell to 10+ members until Wednesday so presumably anyone wanting them have bought.

There was a few more seat tickets added this morning, could be returned friends and family tickets.

Currently 32 standing and 27 seats left.

Thanks for that Foreveram - gonna be a mad panic for us 5 plusses on Wednesday morning assuming there's any left by then.

Hopefully Collins playing on isn't the same as when Winnall did 😬 Elder is an odd one as he played the full game, and Hourihane looked fine when he came off.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see more games like Exeter for the foreseeable (less pressing high up the pitch, but press in our defensive 3rd). Cashin only just returned to the squad after having a tight hammy, Adams is cramping up, et

Elder got clattered late on if I remember right, maybe he's struggling as a result of that challenge?

"Crossing for crossings sake is pointless.

I'll never forget when we played Reading a few weeks ago, and put in 26 crosses. NML made the most crosses during the match in the history of forever.

We were absolutely toothless upfront that night."

    etc etc etc.

I remember Gordon Hill being interviewed when he played for us saying that his job was to cross the ball, not pick anyone out, it was the other players job to get on the end of his crosses - oh for the days of the precision crossing of Alan Hinton.

I'd be interested to see what option people would choose if these were the only options?

A - Get promoted = Warne for at least another season.

    B - Stay in league 1 = Warne sacked.

Get promoted every time for me and whilst we're outside of the Premier League that would be my answer every season, irrespective of my thoughts on whoever is our manager at that time - surely isn't that what we all want, promotion 🤔

Something keeps nagging at me ,,,,,,, I was at the last game of the season v Carlisle to see derby crowned league 1 champions with the title already in the bag before a ball was kicked ,,,, life often has some strange coincidences with things written in the stars 🤞,

    champions

I've been thinking that too and would happily watch another disappointing hungover performance if we were guaranteed a top two place before kick off 🤞
