I’ve no idea but I still enjoy watching him for the most part (his frustrating free kicks he gives away apart). Think he’s one of the few players we’ve got that can take a ball past a player in tight spaces. Doesn’t rely on pace.

Feel like he’ll never make it here though - too many managers used him as a utility player. Will watch with interest where ever he ends up next though.

Needs a run of games in the middle of the park

OK.  We'll stick with what we have then... Finish 3rd to 6th... win a two leg semi-final... then head to Wembley to boil the entire season down to one game.

Nothing wrong with the current system in my opinion. At the end of the day there will always be a cut off point for automatic promotion. Its a binary. You're either above the line or below the line.

It's a second chance for the 3rd team to gain promotion, everything is in that team's favour and more often than not, the 3rd placed team wins it.

If you had the 3rd team straight into the final, somehow I think that just increases the jeopardy. It would be a random game played weeks after the seasons end. In this scenario, the opposition team joining them in the final would surely be more 'ready' for the final given they potentially will have played two games beforehand and will have built up some momentum. If we're looking for fairness, we need more games not less.

    I'd quite like to see:

    5th at home to 6th...

    Winner away to 4th...

Winner of that at Wembley v 3rd.

3rd place may not guarantee promotion, but it guarantees a Wembley day out, and just the 1 play off tie to try to secure that promotion, rather than 3.

But surely that's worse, boiling the entire season down to 1 game?

may be because quite a few parted with coin to be entertained on rtv,and a fair few thousand rams fans will be at work tomorrow suffering abuse from gumps and other fans,so yes we should be bothered

Of course, and to those who parted with their money it is bitterly disappointing. But to have a reaction like this on here and on Twitter, you would have thought there were 30,000 there tonight. The attendance of these games represents the appetite for the competition. Clearly people aren't that bothered. I didn't go tonight as in my opinion the competition is a nonsense.

  5. If we're going to do away with SBW then it needs to be replaced by something that is unique to us. That's why in a way I like it, it's our song.

A number of clubs have got this spot on. Arsenal have recently adopted North London Forever as their anthem. It works as it's a song about Arsenal and the area.

I was wondering whether we can do something with 'Derby Til I Die' by Tommy and the Popsides
