I imagine there’s a difference between ‘a bid’ where you’ve given your intention to administrators and what you can offer and an ‘official bid’, where you need to put down in writing whos involved, where the money comes from etc etc. That’ll be the difference in Appleby and the admins use of ‘bid’.
Then I dare say ‘you lot’ are looking far too much into it!

Who had told Ed Dawes this? Appleby? The statement from q didn’t seem to suggest that any bids had been received since Ck dropped out.

In the event of liquidation the players are still legally under contract and any monies raised by the EFL goes towards paying football creditors and the admin.

But they are not willing to buy us at the price required so it seems, the only way they can buy us for a low cost i imagine is if the club is liquidated and they start a phoenix club. The idea of "let them buy us at any price" is not an option as the administrators have insolvency rules to follow, doubt it's Quantuma's fault that the debt is too high and bidders willing to accept it. Everything is about the money and not sentiment or history.

Hmrc are a creditor. Who will get nothing if Derby folds. I think we have had that discussion before.

I think you’re guessing that was the case. Just a rumour imo! If he had bought PP in any case, he could have transferred it over to a new buyer at the same cost, if he was going to be so generous spirited.

I suppose. But I suspect the EFL don't want to even engage on it (for now anyway), because of the potential fallout from other clubs.  They don't want the admins to even think it's a realistic possibility, because as soon as it, the admins are probably going to have to take it.  And if bids do come in under that minimum floor, it's the football creditors that will get hit, because with security on the stadium, there's simply no way that money doesn't get paid (by someone, somewhere).  And then the EFL are opening themselves up to legal action from the football creditors that got stiffed by us.

Yet isn’t the EFL wanting to look at all the bids looking at hypotheticals ?

Or they have asked and the EFL have refused to give a clear answer - the Quantuma statement doesn't actually say whether they have asked or not.  Honestly there's very little chance that the EFL will give a clear answer anyway.  At best it will be "it will depend on the exact circumstances", but it's probably going to be "we don't engage in hypotheticals, please refer to the EFL insolvency policy".

Firstly, what makes you think that the City Council would easily wave through the redevelopment of PP, even for residential development (which is questionable anyway, given what it's built on)? They've always said they wouldn't, and what seasoned developer is going to take a punt on that changing? The land alone isn't worth £21m without planning consent.
Secondly, fans were willing to pay £400 for seats from Upton Park because it was WHam's traditional home. I doubt you'd find many that would pay a tenner for a seat from the London Stadium.
Thirdly, only the East and West stands at Highbury were retained, and the redevelopment costs were substantial, but it was financially worthwhile because it was inner-city London right next to a tube station, not remediated industrial land at Wilmorton.
Without a tenant able to pay a rent, Pride Park makes no sense as a purchase - and what Derby fan (as David Clowes is reputed to be) would buy it in the knowledge that he might have to knock it down to get his money back?

You sound like a genuinely interesting and fascinating man. I’d like to find out a little more about you; What was your mothers maiden name? Your first school? And first pets name. And, I’d really love to see a pic of a real Barclays premium debit card- any chance you could just take a pic please and DM it. Thanks!

Without responding to specific posts, I don't blame Quantuma for keeping the details of the bids confidential until they've got to an acceptable bid. The EFL has clearly leaked like a sieve during the whole process, with details from closed meetings being fed to selected journalists (does anyone think that this hasn't been happening?!) If the bidders have also demanded that the details of their bids is kept confidential, would some of you prefer it if their bids were disregarded?
It would be ideal to have the game's governing body fully engaged in this process, but when they've clearly shown that they can't keep discipline within their own organisation, and there are serious concerns about the intentions of some of the club representatives towards DCFC, I'm not surprised that both Quantuma and the bidding parties are reluctant to trust them.

Q are having daily calls with EFL so hardly excluding them, and it is up to the bidders not to Q to decide at this stage what they want to share with EFL. FWIW I believe that our best hope now is local benefactors who are Rams fans. They are also the least likely to trust the EFL (as Rams fans , most of them anyway have seen how useless EFL are)  and I do not blame any such bidders (if they exist) in not wishing to share stuff with EFL.
