I have no idea - but the fact it’s heavily rumoured he hasn’t paid his own employees, he used bank holidays as excuses, disappeared off social media as soon as it got to the fact the money wasn’t appearing among a ton of other things. Including the EFL and Q not exactly having the most concreate reputations for being thorough (see the Portsmouth article about one of the lead men at Q trying to sell a reporter to Blackpool when they were doing the Portsmouth admin) and I think it makes me question whether those proof of funds were really proof at all. I just don’t have a lot of confidence of any one in this process.

Man claims to have sent money. Money doesn't arrive.

Logically there are two options.
A, it was never sent.
B, it failed the anti money laundering check.
Whichever was the case, was that really someone we wanted owning our club?

we have to face it... we need a rich idiot willing to pay over the odds for us to survive as the club we currently are. There's no realism of value that works. It's either someone pays more than we are worth, and we rebuild, or they don't and we are booted out of the Football League. The EFL cannot bypass rules just to keep a decent-sized club in the league. The HMRC won't accept peanuts. The footballing debts MUST be paid in full. DELL want 100% of what they're owed, which is increasing with every loan that Q take from them.

CK could've been that Sugar Daddy, but the way fans treated him was disgusting over the last few weeks. We will never know if he would have been successful and if he was a genuine tyre-kicker or was scared off.

Ashley is right to be offering that kind of price though as the administrators have sailed us into a situation where we have five players under contract and no stadium so buying a club badge and five player contracts does not go anywhere near getting any value back on his potential investment. CK was offering a hell of a lot without paying out a hell of a lot. Ashley wants the stadium or a purchase where he will be guaranteed the stadium at a knock down price in a relatively short period of time. Yet the administrators are basically saying they will sell without any IFFs BUTS or MAYBEs - good luck with that as bidders will be horrified at what they are not getting for a lot of money.

Yep , it’s bizarre, the clubs very existence is on the line and people see Rooney staying as being vital , now I have great respect for how he has been through all this but ANY manager or player is short term , they all move on or are moved on , that’s the nature of football,
we must survive first and foremost

Simple but glaringly true , what has it to do with the fans who hand over they’re money hand over fist in good faith and we’re lied to over the running and state of the club?
what has it to do with the staff and players busting a gut for the club?
the club were used , shafted and spat out , left to wither and die with the same disregard as the creditors,
this will happen time and time again as it has in the past until regulations and culpability rules are changed ,
nothing wierd in the truth

It’s disgusting that people can be treated this way ( I have a small business) but the fault is in a system where a man with the worth of around 500 mill ( even if it’s dropped considerably now ) can run up these debts and walk away , I don’t think it says too much about Ashley that he wants to be saddled with as little as possible of another man’s debts when buying the club and saving it from going under , even if it’s for the motive of building it up to make a long term profit , do you really believe ck or any of the other bidders are not trying to pay creditors as little as they feel they can get away with ?
not one of those bidders is buying the club for the motive that they feel the creditors have been wronged and they want to step in and do the right thing for them, certainly ck is doing the absolute least he can without incurring a points deduction which impacts on his business plan,
the creditors and derby county have been shafted by Morris we should not and can not judge people like Ashley and the others on them not wanting to pay for Morris mess ,anyone buying derby is buying another man’s debts and a business with next to no worth and assets apart from a decent fanbase which gives potential for future if run properly
